Human Expertise Question

Hello all,

My warrior is using a sword is his main hand and an axe in his offhand. Obviously, as a Human, that means that the Expertise caps for my hands are different. I'm currently sitting at 7.69 / 6.69 because I remember a long time ago you didn't need to worry about capping your offhand.

Is this still the case? Or do I need to cap the offhand as well? It would be a shame to lose crit or mastery when I'm already capped on my mainhand...
