Also, Adamantium sounds like a scientific version of Adamantine, which is a really old word from Latin and medieval literature.

That's kinda what I was getting at from the start, that all those words take an adjective(or a verb in case of Transformium) and turn it into a pseudo-scientific noun. Adamantium takes root in Adamant(unbreakable, indestructible) - which in turn may or may not be derived from Adamantine, I don't intend to dig any deeper at 2am. Unobtanium comes from Unobtainable(Duh.) while Transformium - Transform(DUH.). The only difference I see is that Adamant is somewhat a bit more refined than the other two.

I'd give it a read, tbh. I liked it but not anything mind blowing.

It used to be, if only for the fact that nobody thought a good Dark Elf could exist, let alone sell well (it was a controversial idea when Drizzt was first published, and he debuted in the Icewind Dale trilogy, back in the '70s, I believe).

Fun fact: Wulfgar was supposed to be the big guy for Salvatore, not Drizzt. And he literally came up with Drizzt in 30 seconds.
