What the hell, here's an easy one.
In the first, I served no faction, but I did have a lord,
And I was served by many who carried either staff or sword.
In the second, a grand Crusade was carried in my name.
Kael brought me to his battle, and Illidan, the same.

I was trying to think of a dagger. Before there were some really awesome daggers with 1.3 in speed which gained fame. But they have removed those fast weapons now. And I still can't fit in the "you must prove yourself to face me" line for any of the daggers.
Quel'Delar is the only weapon I can think of that you have to prove yourself for.
