Okay, how the fuck is this retarded thread still going?
I actually asked someone on a forum for feedback about my profile. She really gave me a lot of tips and reading them all gave me this overwhelming feeling of "This.is.so.much.work". Online its a lot more about selling yourself and taking the initiative (esp with queer women dating) and it just feels contrived to do it. Sure it'd love to meet someone but I also have a bucketlist of RL things I want to explore, who knows what might happen there
PS: Not gonna Tinder either, dont worry :P

Hey there Lilly!
I didn't have much trouble creating my profile last Saturday, but I don't really understand how I am supposed to act. As a guy, I guess I am expected to make the first move. But I just don't know how to make it. For example, I'm reading a profile of a girl from Chicago; she seems to have pretty much the same interests as me, similar lifestyle, etc. I would feel really awkward saying something like this, "Hi, I've noticed we have a lot of similar interests. Want to chat on Skype?". Perhaps I need to get out of my head and just go for it...
Just, when you pet her, try not to press on her too much. Also, I don't recommend drinking lemon juice while around her. Both acts have a potential to become explosive!
