I find it rather interesting, from a social experiment aspect, that people who are going to grief/kill you out of the blue will act sketchy or odd. They'll talk to you. They'll say weird things. They'll ask you where you're going, or just random questions. They'll ask for help, or to group. Make noises or sounds. Play music. The people who are going to do harm are the guys who don't just pass by.

I often say 'yo' when I run into people, indicating that I see him, and they are aware of me. Nothing more, nothing less. If they say 'whats up' or some other simple greeting, 49 out of 50 times, they're cool. It's the guys who draw attention that puts me on edge. The guys who say "Dont shoot!" or tell their members "Hes cool leave him alone" that I know I'm about to get plugged in the back.

Managed to survive a manhunt by just marathon running from DZ 1 to DZ 6. It was actually pretty funny.

It sounded like pudding so I went on about how I love pudding, but it's bad for you. They killed me when I started extracting lol, which I knew was going to happen.

Went back and killed 3 of them, the last one escaped.

A question about powerleveling. Is it possible and if so how does one most effectivelly get boosted in the division?
Let a bunch of higher level friend come and carry you through missions or what?

Have someone run you in the last 3 story missions in order. After do all the side missions in the last 3 area's. Time wise it should take you around 5hr-6hrs max. Thats the only way I know atm. Doing the last 3 story missions will get you to around 26-28.

Missions have set XP no matter your level. If the mission gave 100k at level 1 it will be 100k at level 21. I don't recommend being powerleveled if you are new tho.

Are you padding your "DPS" with accuracy and other stats?

I have 160k SMG DPS with almost maxed gear, though I hit 100k headshots on elites and 75k on non-elites. We both have 3.2k firearms so I can't understand the discrepancy in our DPS.

Im planning to level my first by doing it the right way and experience the storyline. I was thinking about when doing your second char.

It can be done, Thats just the only way I know how to do it. There may be better guides on how to powerlevel.

Several question folks, would appreciate if you can answer them:

- How is the performance and graphics? I've seen people complaining about graphical downgrades, is that the case? I do not want to play a game with 12 FPS. Is performance okay? Like, does PS4 fail to run the game steadily in action?
- Is plus required to play?
- How fast paced PvP is also how important the PvP aspect of the game (i.e., dark zone?) I am planning to play this game as a solo player/ganker in dark zone. Also, what kind of gameplay elements are available outside of dark zone.
- I am a lifetime solo player in PS4, I hate playing in party. Is it viable to play this game solo?
- How big the map is? I've seen some concerns regarding fake maps in teaser videos, is that the case?
- What kind of gear customizations are available? Is there a rich set of weapons, tactical gear and cloth/armor?
- What are the details of progression system in the game. There is leveling right?

I'm trying to craft a magazine with rate of fire, but I can never get it so I current have magazine size and weapon damage, my gloves are power level 30, need to grind some PC for the 31 blueprint.

Shiiit, we must have similiar rolls or something, pretty much 1:1 with my equip being somewhat more sucky color-wise.
At least if I reroll my mods from +armor to +crit

I was wanting to get 250k DPS, but I've no idea how I'm going to do it. I've still got some optimising to do, which I'll probably do on the calibration station when I have PC. Perhaps when I finally craft a Vector with good Talents, the DPS will sky rocket. I'm not convinced that when I finally roll a magazine with rate of fire that my dps will increase much, if any.

My friend told me that Summit1g had 400k DPS, while still having 60-70k HP and 9k electronics. No idea how that is possible, so I just won't believe it.

My friends I was playing with have more or less quit now, so if any PC players want to hit up DZ04 and up, let me know.

There is no way to get up to 400k DPS

I have friends that are close to being crit capped on equipment (which is a stupid thing to do, they did it for the lulz) with a vector and going for crit damage and they didn't get anywhere close to that.

400k is probably from stacking smartcover and taking a screenshot.

I think my equipment is fairly top notch so far other than chest + gloves. And I'm always between 170-190k with my AK.
I have a yellow +13% Weapon damage magazine, yellow headshot+critical scope, yellow accuracy + stability grip, yellow crit damage and stability muzzle. Mod wise, it doesn't get much better than that (maybe 1-2% better) and I guess the muzzle could roll accuracy for sheet dps.

You can get higher than 190k, don't get me wrong (you won't end up with much higher actual DPS though), but the highest you can get is probably with a godly HE MP5 and not much further than 2xx.xxx... and you'd need the +47% accuracy talent on it, on top of the crit damage and headshot damage one. Who knows, maybe you can actually reach the very low 300k's, but I really doubt it.

Probably some stat switching/talent stacking/stat-menu issue going on.

The only thing I'm missing is a 3 gear mod slotted chest, yellow gloves and a few yellow gear mods with +crit chance rolls.

Are you rolling mods on everything? I thought going for CHD / Elite DMG were the best options after hitting around 42% crit (depending on how much your pulse gives you)

And my point is that thinking of this game in terms of "endgame PvE progression" is itself a problematic viewpoint. You're expecting that there be a linear and consistent path that leads to gear in exchange for time invested, guaranteed. There is no basis for presuming that to be the case.

I look at this game like Diablo. There is no "End Game" in Diablo other than grinding gear to do the next difficulty. It is not a game which you can "complete". It's not intended to do that. You are just chasing a carrot on a stick if you view these kinds of games as "progression", which will get you no where.

This isn't a core pvp game and being forced into pvp content to progress in PvE is a problem. There should not be PC rewards in DZ that is a massive upgrade for those in PvE..

This is a good point. I believe they really should have incorporated the Dark Zone from around level 5. Make players go in and out of it to make it feel more part of the core game.

No, the only piece thats on my vector that has accuracy is my under-barrel, which I am desperately trying to get rid of. I'm heavily stacking crit dmg and crit chance which gives a ton of DPS if you get enough of it. Every yellow mod on my armour I have, has the 1.50% crit chance on it, which over my 5 slots, adds about 25k dps to my total, even though I gain zero firearms damage from it.

That said, that screenshot is a bit off, I hardly ever use the vector anymore. DPS from a DMR with balance is 3 times higher. I only use my SMG when a rusher gets extremely close. I have 178k sheet DPS with the DMR.

Edit: taking the underbarrel off with 18% accuracy brings the sheet dps down to 200,532.

Of course, because if you are at 200k, you'd have to improve your HE-gear by another 100% and that's not possible. Especially since Elitedamage and Armordamage is not being added in the sheet dps.
And if you have 3000 firearms, another 130 firearms through a mod or better gear will only add another 3,3% overall damage. In comparison, you could roll 11% elite damage instead of another mod slot on a mask.

So at some point, adding even more firearms is just stupid and you can only gain significant DPS through hs/critdamage/critchance etc.
And critchance is capped at 60%... so you don't want to go higher than ~30-40% either. (any bad-decent pulse will add 20-30% critchance.)

Farm General Assembly a few times for a decent set of 30 purples, (you get like 8 purples per run plus a chance at a yellow items) Do your dailys for Phoenix credits. When you are full purple, jump into Lexington center challenge mode, it's extremely easy, gives you ilvl 30 yellow items and 30 phoenix credits everyrun. Spam it until you have enough to purchase a couple of the Special vendors recipes, which are ilvl 31...when you have all those recipes, a decent weapon (probably the vector) it's then time to farm DZ for the rest of the ilvl 31 yellows and the rank 50 recipes.

Getting 400k sheet DPS isn't possible atm but getting 400k actual DPS could be more realistic.
