I've wasted all evening on making this short music video, featuring scenes from the first and international trailer. The music is apparently an extended/full version of the international trailer music, but I dunno if its official or fan made. What I DO know is that the theme is EPIC and I had to cut in it because we haven't got enough fitting scenes XD

Either way I think this will make you hype! Why haven't Universal done this yet?!
Oh and yeah, got dem Movie Maker skills~

Seems like the only way to save this movie's marketing is if the fans take the matter into their own hands. They seem to be doing a better job than the actual marketing.

So, peeps, we've seen a lot of Ner'zhul in the trailers. What do you guys think might be the point behind this? The obvious aiming for sequels? Because I don't remember him doing anything significant during the first or second war.

Actually, didn't he stay behind on Draenor during both of the wars?

I don't know why everyone assume that guy is Ner'zhul, because definitely is not.

He did stay behind. And I still don't think we've been seeing Ner'zhul, at most just
someone from his clan. Kazinsky said that they had to ignore a several things for
the movie, he then mentioned stuff like the blood-drinking, Ner'zhul, etc.

My hope is that they wrote it in such a way that it could have all still happened, it
    just wasn't mentioned.

Because he has a skull on his face. But ye, I think Rob Kazinsky more or less said Ner'zhul won't be in 1st movie.

Well, yeah, skull on face plus lighting around him in almost every shot, which is very shamanistic, obviously.

That is a bit worrisome, though. I mean, wont the average Joe be curios about why the Orcs' world is dying and why they themselves are changing? And what about the future movies, when Ner'zhul will actually have to take over the Horde and eventually become the Lich King? They can't exactly bring him in at the last moment and somehow have people think of him as more than a random orc, which he most certainly is not, as a former spiritual (and practical) leader of the whole race, a mentor of Gul'dan.

Edit: I'm starting to worry more and more that the average person will be confused by the sheer number of Orcs, almost all of them relevant. A TV show might better suite the franchise. :P

The skull was painted and was of a bright white. The orc of the trailer has no painted skull on his face, is a sort of facial gear with feathers attached. That has nothing to do with Ner'zhul.

That gear is incredibly akin to the one wore by the Thunderlord in WoD. And you know, lighting....thunderlord...I guess it could simply be a shaman of theirs.

Trust me, that guy's not Ner'zhul. I bet my eyes on that.

That's a huge fucking plot point not to include it in the movie...

Which is why I hope they wrote it in a way that it could have still happened. It doesn't
change a lot for this point in time, but it'd change a lot of things later on.

But is it even unscripted/filmed or will it just not be part of the theatrical cut, but might be added to the extended edition ?

That I don't know. Kazinsky made the comment long before Duncan said an extended
    cut could happen one day.

    I assume it wasn't filmed.

I wonder what then is the reason for the orcs turning green. Considering we haven't seen any shots resembling them drinking blood, it makes sense.

Afaik they turn green because of exposure to fel magics not because of the blood drinking...

That's correct. The blood drinking makes them give in to a bloodlust and gain red
    eyes.

And Grommash explains that they're green because "Gul'dan has made us strong
    with his death magic".

Those green tints in the camp look like demon blood to me. It definitely is not fire.

Saw an interesting post claiming to be a recount from someone who saw an early
screening. Even if they didn't see a screening, the post works as speculation too.
I think it explains a few issues I've had with the assumed script very well too.

To be fair, the source of orc's corruption wasn't much clear in WC1, it got explored during WC3 and Rise of the Horde. I don't think they'll go much in detail for that, as you should be quite forced at that point to mention Mannoroth if not even Kil'jaeden, further messing things up.

That's kinda what happened in the Warcraft lore too but indeed that seems to better emphasize that orcs couldn't simply "turn back" at that point.

Am I the only one who actually liked the music from the Blizzcon trailer? IMO it was spot on.

Couldn't drinking blood be replaced with being infused with fel magic/energy or something along those lines? As long as it comes from the Burning Legion, it doesn't really change anything.
