Anyone born after 1989 is a kid to me.

None of this is rational, exactly. It just feels that way.
Um... born in the 70s is "old"???

Old school is not believing that Gay is ok.
Old school is the man working and the woman at home taking care of the children and the house.
Old school is opening doors for women.
Old school is everything that made people good but is now socially unacceptable.

31 year old here. 30 is certainly the cutoff for being "young". I'm still on the fence about what "old" means.

Well, it started with "Artillery" for the Apple II. Thus the whole genre being "Artillery games".
Then came the real masterful and groundbreaking artillery games: Tank Wars, Scorched Earth, Atomic Cannon, Worms, and GunBound.

Man, GunBound was awesome until everyone started cheating.

"Not believing that Gay is ok" is what "made people good"? Huh

Also people still hold doors open for women... and men. I do it since its common courtesy.

Yeah I only kid but I don't like hearing 40 is "still young". It's really... not. Def middle aged at that point

I definitely have an old school / arguably semi-luddite approach to some things.

-still drive a manual transmission car
-hold physical objects and creative processes in higher regard than digital ones (music, for example)

I like new tech just fine when it actually serves a unique purpose or offers a significant improvement, rather than a simple convenience.

Missed Atari and such stuff, my first pc was a 386dx40 and the memories of typing autoexec.bat and config.sys files myself is still nice

Why? They give the same thanks that women do when I hold the door open for them.

Old-School hip hop or something makes more sense to me.. but I guess people use this term in WoW often to talk about Classic, and sometimes TBC when they act like the game was so legit back then, when they never actually played back then like most of us - and we all know it sucked ass in a lot of parts of the game #threadjackMOFO
