A fair bit later than I expected, but I'm happy they're taking their time to polish rather than release it in a less than perfect state.

They have announced a set release date before Beta has even started. Pretty sure they are "taking their time" and will still "release it in a less than perfect state". Best of both worlds, eh?

Any hints at or spotting of either Azzinoth or Atiesh (the Demon)? Given their somewhat importance, I think they should be in the game somewhere. Broken Shore, Raid boss, Dungeon boss, Order hall objective.

You are probably right.

New players will not feel the WoD drought even if they buy a 100 boost. I came back 3 months before WoD hit and had shitloads of stuff to do. Arguing otherwise seems pessimistic just for the sake of being pessimistic, if we're being honest.

There is no Azzinoth npc in the database as far as I can tell

there are some artifact questlines taking place.
nothing special.

It will play a part in the on going legion story line mostlikely from the hint of a 5 man style kara dungeon but hey even if there not doing a 5 man it still a good sign of long term legion content (i hope).
