I would feel nervous walking around with more than $100 on me. Kind of irrational I suppose, since I've never been mugged or lost my wallet in my life and it's probably a very low likelihood, but still.

Actually you can also avoid that charge if you go to a supermarket or other shop that lets you get cash out at the counter with purchases. So I used to stock up my wallet with $20-40 when I did the weekly shopping just in case. Been lax lately since I so rarely use cash anymore.

As a user of plastic everywhere in the USA, doesn't affect me one bit. I do think it's rather odd that the demonize 'slave owner' Andrew Jackson as some quasi excuse...what about George Washington? Why does George Washington the slave owner get to stay on the quarter and 1 dollar bill?

Yeah, if they are going to put a woman on a bill it should be Betsy Ross, She so much more important to our history than probably any other woman and infinitely more important than Tubman. Yeah slavery was wrong and detestable, but it was still legal so she is being praised for breaking the law. She is nothing more than what we call coyotes today
