Swedish Green Party may have been infiltrated by Islamists

    http://www.thelocal.se/20160423/gree...sts-researcher

Lars Nicander, director of the Centre for Asymmetric Threat Studies at the Swedish National Defence College, fears that the Green Party, the junior partner of the Social Democrats in the Swedish coalition government, has been infiltrated by Islamists.

Making reference to the recent controversies involving Green Party politicians, Mehmet Kaplan and Yasri Khan, Nicander, speaking to Swedish television channel, TV4, drew parallels with the way the Soviet Union tried to infiltrate political parties and organizations during the Cold War.

“I see a similarity to how Soviet communism was acting during the Cold War when it tried to infiltrate the various democratic parties.”

Nicander said that the Green Party is a young party that is well-intentioned and inclusive. But he believes that the party is naïve and it’s this quality that makes it vulnerable to those with agendas.

“No party is immune to people that come in with different agendas.”

At the start of the week, housing minister and Green Party member, Mehmet Kaplan resigned from government after media published old footage of him making controversial remarks about Israel's policies towards Palestinians.

Then a rising star in the overtly feminist party, Yasri Khan, refused to shake a female journalist’s hand and resigned in the ensuing storm of controversy.

But Nicander also suggested that Green Party members have been seen making Muslim Brotherhood signs, with four fingers up in the air, on television.

According to Aftonbladet, Kaplan also appeared to make the sign, supporting the extremist Islamist organisation, during a demonstration in Stockholm in 2014.

The Green Party secretary Anders Wallner told the Swedish newspaper, Expressen, "What Nicander says is something that we take very seriously. Extremism has no place in the Green Party."
    Thoughts about this?

I don't think it is without reason that Norwegian politicians point to Sweden and say "we should not do like them" when we talk about immigration. We are very naive in Scandinavia, and in the end it is going to hurt us.
Fienden sitt våpen kastet, opp visiret for,
vi med undren mot ham hastet, ti han var vår bror.
    Drevne frem på stand av skammen gikk vi søderpå;
nu vi står tre brødre sammen,
    og skal sådan stå!

People with different agendas join different parties, when they do something too controversial, they get called out on it. "Islamist infiltration" seems a tad sensationalist and overblown to me, but I am sure there is no shortage of people who will seize on the opportunity to bang their drums...

Not a problem soon hopefully. I wonder if they will even make it into parliament next election, would not be the first time voters turned them down for one reason or another.
Their quest to attract muslim voters and get not just the typical classic white politicians made them sloppy with background checks. Worst part is that the leadership seem to not look at it as a problem.

Congress in 3 weeks, wonder if the 2 party leaders are sit safe. At the moment yes but there is not a day without scrutiny and new errors being reported.
So glad that media started to seriously dig into muslim behaviour or rather lack of it in many areas of politics, next up should be to look at why fucked up religious associations many of the muslim gets federal funding when they sit on extremist or pseudo extremist views.

But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

Hopefully we won't see them next election. Clown party for clowns that can't be arsed to even read their political program just vote for them because they are a so called green party.

edit: Bakis have to agree with the funding. They really need to start cutting it to mosques that invite hate speakers and promite extremist views. The one in Gävle should probably go first.

Because you'll always have people joining parties, some of them will have suspect ideologies (of any extreme stripe, religious, political, etc...) and that is just how it is. You need a tad bit more than a handful of people like that before you can talk of some kind of purposeful infiltration scheme. And anyhow, the purpose of infiltration is to lay low until you have sufficient numbers to do some damage, so even if you somehow still think that this is a "Islamist infiltration", you should be happy that they are so inept.
