Because when he did get involved in the production of the game itself he was simply destructive. He would swoop in one afternoon and berate a series of features several teams had spent months on, declaring they begin again and LISTEN to what he told them to do.

I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard has been working on a program for licensing legacy servers. Administration stays the worry of franchisees while Blizzard salvages a demographic segment and banks cash.

That's why I said "before leaving Blizzard".

It's hard to argue that Kern isn't a player's designer, though. Not sure the same can be said of many of the current development team on World of Warcraft who, for some reason, seem happy to hit their players with two 14-month content droughts in a row.

"Look at all these pages written in Font Size 16". Why didn't he show the lists and lists of multiple signings with fake accounts?
Also jumping to a lot of conclusions with the "potential" players. Would probably end up as a bigger Hype&Crash than the WoD launch.
The list of streamers is also more like a list of people wanting to cash in in a short hype.
