Anyone else just come here hoping someone blew something up

I feel kinda guilty for admitting this but I'm coming to realize I'm just a pretty sick person in general.

Amway I don't use Facebook or other social media, don't use the internet for much at all anymore really. Don't pay much attention to any media outlets unless someone else is watching and I'm around. 2 video games I played almost exclusively are wow and csgo but I don't play much of either anymore.

In short I guess I really have no hobbies or other forms of entertainment. Kinda just sitting around waiting to die.

However in the meantime I basically lurk here hoping for some shit to go down on a world stage. Shit is just so stale, I'd like for some major catastrophic changes or I perhaps would rather leave this world for another.

Idk, does anyone else have a guilty pleasure of watching terror events unfold and such?

Chaos can be quite entertaining. But the human factor still makes me feel sad.

That's how I feel. It upsets me that so many are unwitting pawns, however I do believe after death we will continue to operate as forces of good or evil. At this point I'm mostly committed to good but the darkness is sure lucrative.

sorry to hear death and destruction is the only thing that entertains you these days.

other peoples pain and suffering doesn't intrigue me in the slightest bit.

Then maybe do the world a favor and off yourself.

Well, as implied, I'm beginning to think that's my best option. I figure I'll only get worse from here. Yesterday I could barely contain laughter as I watched my 2 year old niece fall down a flight of stairs. As despicable as it is that's the truth. I'm disgusted with myself.

Each terror attack makes leftists who desperately apologize and remind people not to slander their new master religion Islam look worse, so if we are looking at a silver lining in tragic situations...

“So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.

Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.

When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.”

I come here more often to gawk at the pathetic specimens of humanity on display. Also the WoW news.

    Um what?

    No

Wanting the world to burn probably isn't healthy, since 100% of the time so far it hasn't

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see peace and prosperity for the human race. But its clear to see most do not. They want their own people to prosper at the expense of everyone else.

Absolutely. I'm not remotely proud of it, but I do think it's probably very common. In the Christian community I grew up in and still hear about through my dad, there's always a lot of interest in eschatology. I think it taps into the same interest. The same could be said for the now fairly mainstream interest in fantastic scenarios like a zombie apocalypse - most people know it's not gonna happen, but it's still fun to imagine. It's worth noting that I also regularly figure that if anything actually did really go south, I'd be wishing for things to "go back to the way they were" in very short order.

I've been like that since elementary school. Its ingrained in my personality. I'm also a drug addicted sexual deviant. I don't think these qualities will magically vanish.

Tragedy and chaos and big world events are absolutely fascinating. I end up glued to MMOC whenever one happens.

That doesn't mean I actively hope it will.

Get a show on MTV, then you'll be a drug addicted sexual deviant pornstar.

    Also take your own advice?

Maybe stop devoting all your energy trying to figure out what's wrong and realize anxiety and depression are natural. Find some passion in life. Something to live for. Spend less time online. Maybe more drugs is the answer. Try psychedelics.

Yeah I certainly don't sit around actively hoping stuff will go wrong. If anything I spend significant amounts of effort every day trying to make the world a better place instead of a worse one. I'm mostly just admitting that there's some dark part of me that is occasionally disappointed when I load up the news and it's just another typical day. I think it's at least somewhat a byproduct of my very routine mid-life situation atm.
