Armor that is so large and unwieldy that no one could possibly wear it, let alone move in it?

U right, no human being could wield that big ass hammer and move inside that amazing/sexy/intimidating armor, for a an exception of Retribution paladins, who are given to the order from early age of 6, they molded/ bitten/ trained to become the warriors elites of the world, they sir have the both mental and physical power to wield those devices of mass destruction, also imbued with Retribution power of Holly Vengeance gives them superior endurance and strength to any living creature in the universe; hence, enabling them to wield that armor like it is a silky shirt.

As you can see sir, it is very logical and simple, a non-brainer
