Which, like I just said, is a pointless claim because one is very common and the other isn't. Even if true, which you haven't established, your argument has no worth, because of what the absolute values are. This is basically just one long form attempt at a tu quoque.
God help anyone who takes a message board this seriously.
What does that have to do with anything..
You've accused a moderator for power abuse, in a thread.
That is against the forum rules, since as per rules you're suppose to contact super mods or the admins if you are in disagreements.
Moderation per say is not to be discussed in any thread, throughout the forums. Not limited to Gen-OT.
So your tirade of blanket insults is uncalled for.
"The pen is mightier than the sword.. and considerably easier to write with."
Not to mention we've all overstepped our boundaries and ended up on the receiving end of the ban hammer. There's just some people that have to carry on with that Victim Complex that everyone is out to get them. Personal responsibility until they break they rules...then it's someone else's fault.
What you're basically doing is explaining why one is more destructive while expecting that to somehow mean that defeats my point.
"This is why this word is more destructive as an accusation! And therefore you're wrong in claiming it is more destructive as an accusation!"
Hint: it doesn't - it only strengthens it if anything. You're giving more legitimacy to it.
Its funny too, because moderation is waaaaaaaay looser than it was a few years ago. They used to actually infract shitposting.

I'm not sure how many times I'm supposed to explain this to you. Even if true, which hasn't been established (you haven't even presented any argument for it other than some weird hypothetical) your claim has no value. Its pointless. At the end of the day you're just saying that a common word more often effects peoples' lives than a niche one. So...good job?
Really though, its just a shitty attempt at labeling people hypocrites or what have you unless they spend an equal time complaining about every type of shit posting they come across.

Anyway, bed for me.
No, I already labeled people hypocrites when they railed against 'cuck', but not against the misuse of 'racist'. The fact that racist is even more destructive a word to use against someone makes it even juicier; someone is biased, not really that smart, or their priority on what words to demonize is all out of whack.
Good night. :]

ayy lmao ok buddy.
I know perfectly well what i am doing is against the rules, i just don't give a shit.
How many times do you think people have contacted super mods about his biased moderating? Why do you think he keeps getting called out in threads like this?
Still on my way to bed, but if you could hammer out an approved list of words we're allowed to complain about in descending order of priority that would be swell. I'll keep an eye out in the morning.
Its more masochism, idle amusement, and an extra monitor really. Discourse used to be so much better before this silly outrage machine thing took over this particular corner of the internet. Shit, the Obamacare megathread way back when was a trainwreck and it would be a shining beacon of civil debate here now.>51k posts

IDK, but we should definitely poll people with more vaguely sexual anime graphics on how to run a site.

No, no please. You just accused people of complaining about "cuck" but not misuse of "racist" which is apparently much worse. I certainly wouldn't want to be accused of hypocrisy, so if you could just let the thread know what the appropriate level of caring is for every given possible snarl word I'd really really appreciate it.
Could I call you a hypocrite unless I've decided you've spent enough time complaining about the misuse of "socialist" first? That's certainly done a ton of damage to our political sphere. Or have I not qualified as a priority arbiter yet?
Now we both break the rules... lol
But there's two ways to look at that calling out. Almost every time that happens, the complaint about it is biased. The infraction is justified.
Plus, when misjudgement happened, we won't really know either, since even if the penalty is lifted, you still see the note at the post.
Anyway, we shouldn't discuss moderation, period.

I don't generally think that the person who uses the word 'cuck' is going to care much about how he's perceived by the person he's calling such.
Again, not even a fan of it. It's way too overused nowadays, and there's been discussions where I can't even keep up who's supposed to be a cuck, because people keep slinging it back and forth at each other.
I think when I started posting I was getting weekly infractions. Either I got nicer or the mods realised the majority of what I post is sarcasm.

I don't imagine appearance matters much when you're largely confined to your parents' basement no.
