I haven't read the Last Guardian, but he doesn't come across as someone who would wear a Kirin Tor robe, does he?



I could say the same thing for Doomsday in BvS. For most people, it's just a creature, but for someone who knows the character, it's a spoiler.

But the difference we knew it anyway.
Except for maybe Lothar killing Blackhand (if it is true), we knew that Medivh would go full on Sargeras, we knew Llane would be killed etc.

In BvS on the other hand, it was a spoiler, becuase the movie wasnt an adaption of 1 comic with a clear-cut story but based on multiple stories from the DC universe.

Grommash is in the movie, we even saw the poster with the actor.

I know, but I thought we were only going to get a brief cameo of him on Draenor, and then you would barely see him in action. Seeing him fighting on Azeroth was a pleasant surprise for me.

Noticed a change, Daniel Wu now says that Gul'Dan wants ultimate power instead of what he always said (probably to prevent spoilers) : "Gul'Dan does what he thinks is right for his people" thing.

Both instances are right, so is not really a change. Mind you, "doing what he thinks is right for his people" doesn't necessarily mean he sentimentally cares about them. Gul'dan's dream is all about turning the orcs into a race of unstoppable conquerors, with Gul'dan himself leading them while wielding the power of a god.

Yeah that's what Gul'Dan said in the WoD comic called "The Stranger" if I recall correctly.
And yeah I'm very happy to see Grommash going to Azeroth during the 1st War. He's the first badass that drank demon blood. He deserves that. I think it makes more sense.

Honestly, Kargath looks creepy as hell.

Fun fact, from the novelization is clear that Grom "being the first" will be somewhat hinted in the movie aswell.

There is a difference, BvS was a brand new story, Warcraft is the retelling of an old story.

I'd say there's an even bigger difference, the creature in the BvS trailer was obviously Zod, you could see it in its face. I say this as someone who hadn't heard of a comic-book thing called "Doomsday", yet it was painfully obvious to me as someone who watches those movies but doesn't follow the comics, that it was a revived General Zod.

However, no one will notice anything from the Warcraft trailer. They wont recognize the orc being cut as Blackhand because he's at that point unrecognizable to anyone but us. They wont know that's Llane lying dead or Garona's dagger because that requires paying attention to the details. Even I had no idea it was him until I started posting here and reading the discussions.

I'm guessing that that shot gets to a certain height then flies northward until it reaches
Dalaran.
