We'll be accepting entries for the next day and a half, until midday UK time on Thursday 19th May. After that point we'll draw 1000 winners at random from the entries received. We'll have sent email notifications to the winners no later than 8pm that day.

So how often are the keys handed out? Are they given daily or weekly, because just hearing about all my guildies about to get their key, or they might get it from a friend is getting me really hyped to play Legion.

Unfortunately, Meeseeks, the answers the others provided are pretty accurate. CS has no involvement with Beta testing and we're not privy to the scheduling.

With that said, there usually isn't a set schedule. When they feel they need more folks to test they send out invites. Those waves could consist of thousands of people or just a few hundred. It depends on what they are testing and where they are seeing a gap.

It is important to note that not everyone invited will participate, or participate to the level that may be needed when stress testing, etc... In those cases more invites are sent.

I'm not sure how likely it is that a guildmate would be aware that they are about to get invited. Unless they are part of a raiding guild and that is what needs testing the invites are usually pretty random. Keys also aren't going out for people to give to others.

Just make sure you have opted in and think happy thoughts. Hopefully luck will be with you.

Cant you read? he doesn't have a full Blizzard game license...he has never bought WOW, and even worst he will never buy it because after playing the trial he think it sucks.

Odds are they have one of the qualifying games on their Battle.net account. I'd need a BattleTag to look aty their account and confirm though.

The point of beta is to test the game, it isn't a loyalty reward. The only priority is that we get folk who can fit that bill. A diverse testing group helps to find those issues that we may not find otherwise. Someone not entirely familiar with the game may do something differently from someone who has been playing from the beginning. So they may encounter a bug that you, who is familiar with the proper way to do X, Y or Z, wouldn't trigger.

I think you had to do the quest line that sees thrall kill garrosh in Nagrand to get them to appear there.

That happens more or less early in the zone, it's luckily not too hard to get to that point.
