How do you handle people who are constantly calling/texting you?

My strategy has been to ignore people when I can't chat, and explain why when I get a chance to text them (which is *usually* sufficient as people tend to be understanding), but one person in particular is clearly becoming butthurt about that approach.

Tell him he is too needy and you can't tend to him..I've had to tell a couple of guys that before. It worked!

Not much you can do is just say you're busy. Most of the time I get phone calls from telemarketers these days.

I'm a busy girl and a massive introvert, I hate the phone and I only text people when I have to (ie., going out somewhere). I'll make exceptions for certain people phone-wise like friends who live halfway across the country/abroad, but those are rare exceptions.

Long story short there are 2-3 guys that I'm talking to that text me nonstop and it's fucking annoying, one of them will ask me what I'm doing at least once an hour during the workday. I tell them I'm working and it seems to go completely over their head.

Right at this very second one of them is complaining about how mean I am because I only sent him a couple dozen texts today (23...I counted).

How do I tell people nicely that I have better things to do than text all day long?

Just tell them you are a feminist.

Tell them this. Be blunt and honest, but not overly aggressive about it. If they cannot live with that, well, don't talk to them; they obviously don't respect you.

Well, i'm a guy who gets 3 calls a year and never ever text.

A phone for me is just stress. cant understand those who looks like a zombie when they walk, since they just look at the damn phone all the time.

People that know me, just knocks on the door, if im not there, im most likely at the store and will be home shortly, and if i answer the door, we'll figure it out

tell em to stop calling/txting me for stupid reasons. If they don't stop I move em into my annoyers group where every in the group has a silent ringtone and txt alert so I don't get bothered when they do txt or call and they are then ignored for the most part

Then give him a silent text/ringtone noise that way you can choose when you want to converse, because he will definitely respond within minutes given how much he is crushing on you.
