Would you want to see a select few retired PVP mounts on the BMAH?

They have old PVE ones on like the Zul'Gurub mounts, the Core Hound, and the Plagued proto-drake, so why not add in a few of the old PVP mounts?

I'd say add 1 from each season, and a good way to choose which mount goes up is by a poll on their website, along with screenshots so people can decide which is the purdiest!
From the linked list (http://www.warcraftmounts.com/pvp.php), I'd personally go with Swift Nether Drake, Furious Frost wyrm, Cataclysmic Twilight Drake, Malevolent Cloud Serpent and the Primal Gronnling.
What are your thoughts? A good idea, or do you think it'd take away from the rarity of those mounts?
Isn't it ironic how education is important, yet people forget all about it when they visit the internet?

No, they should be unobtainable, especially the PvP mounts. They're awesome and only people who were good in PvP should get them, not people who bought/farm enough gold.

Maybe options for actual gladiators, but for gold? Never.

Nope, I don't pvp but I definitely think these should remain only for those who got them back then

New gold cap would be worth it I guess. I mean thats a lot of coin.

Terrible idea, get good at the game if you want a gladiator mount.

    S3/4/6 Glad here
Id be upset if I see them in the hands of ppl who never did Pvp in their WoW life.
I worked my ass off to get them, I invested a lot of time and commitment as much as my partners did.

You could argue, that Goldfarmers invested time too, but they lack something in particular. Real commitment to the case.
I could sit down and farm 999.999.999 but they couldnt sit down and get up to 2600+

Yes I'd love to see these in BMAH. There are super rare PvE mounts that became unattainable after their time and they can be obtained through BMAH, even the legendary Black Qiraji Battle Tank, although its a super rare drop from the Unclaimed containers. If a mount as legendary as that can be obtained through BMAH, then why would gladiator mounts not be? Sure getting your rating high enough for Glad requires a lot of investment from the players part, but so did these PvE mounts.

Edit: Wrong info. The Black Qiraji Battle Tank does not seem to drop from the containers.

Nope, I don't have them but I believe only people who dedicated the time and effort in receiving them should enjoy those mounts.

You've been misled, that mount does not drop from the containers.

OT: If you put in the effort to become one of the very best PvPers on the server I believe you should be rewarded with something to make you stand out. I know I'll never get one of these mounts although I'd absolutely love to have one, but I didn't earn one so I'm not getting one. And that's ok.

Black Qiraj needed you to be present and "ding the dong" at the world event "The Opening of AQ.".
Anyone could get it, aslong as the Gates were open.
Even lowleveled noobs. who travelled across Kalimdor.

Not really "lots of time invested"

    Hell no.

PVE content gets outdated, soloable. The mounts handed out for Gladiator accomplishments are from content that never becomes outdated and soloable. PVE already has the 100% mounts that are later turned to low drops, and sometimes has mounts that are removed with a new expansion (CM mounts, Garrosh wolf, Grove Warden)...more than enough!

I'm mountcrazed, but I'd never begin to ask for Gladiator mounts to be available for gold...

Gladiator mounts should remain exclusive to players that earned them during the season. Otherwise their value decreases quickly like the Tier 3 armor sets.

I could see Vicious mounts going on the Black Market Auction House, but even then I would voice against it.

Yeah, it just required you to be a single one of the forty people of top guild, able to run BWL in one go. No skill required, compared to rolling FotM and bursting shit down in mere seconds.

I'm against anything being removed from the game. Seems silly to pay $15/mo for them to remove stuff.

That being said, I think a better alternative would be that completing any season as a Glad should get you a token redeemable for any current/previous Glad Mount. That way, it's still a PvP mount.

Yes. With Legion raising the goldcap to 10mill everything thats not obtainable anymore (Atiesh, mounts, pets, gear) should go up on the BMAH cause thats what the BMAH is for.

Plus it would make some snowflakes really really butthurt that alone is a reason to do it for all the salt

Yea because during S1-S6 zerging everything in 2 GCD was sooooooooooo hard and skillful for certain comps. Without a doubt.

This makes more sense honestly, and I think it's fair enough, since then people who put the work into getting Glad status can get the mount they want, rather than be like "Well, I did all that, but this mount is meh".

I don't think it should go on the BMAH because PvP was never outleveled/geared, like mentioned. The ZA/ZG mounts were only taken out in Cataclysm for example, so from the start of Wrath to the first patch of Cata, they were farmable.

I never really got why raiding rewards stayed in while pvp rewards were retired. If anything they should become easier and easier to obtain after every expansion after the one they came out in.

That said I have been a long time believer in things only being timed exclusives.

    No

Not a fan of PvE rewards being available past their "patch" either.

    Sure.

They went back on their word for the proto-drakes. TBH exclusive stuff in an mmo like WoW is lame. It'd be a good gold sink as well.
