Okay, last ATG literally made me laugh out loud.
ST end of book 15 - Now I'm stuck with the image of the God Sealing Pagoda actually being a pokéball after Qin Yu went all 'gotta watch em all'.
oe, have to watch S1 some time then.

As a child, Masamune Makabe once suffered greatly at the hands of a wealthy and beautiful girl named Aki Adagaki, who nicknamed him "Piggy" due to his chubby appearance. Seeking revenge against his tormentor, Masamune works hard to improve himself and returns as an incredibly handsome, albeit narcissistic, high school student. When he encounters Aki once again, he is prepared to exact vengeance.
With the aid of the rich girl's maid, Yoshino Koiwai, Masamune slowly begins to build his relationship with Aki, intending to break her heart when the time is right. However, as his friendship with Aki begins to grow, Masamune starts to question the objectives of his devious plans, and if bringing them to fruition is what his heart truly desires.
Nice.
Finished Kimi ni Todoke S1 last night, easily a 9/10. Them not becoming a couple was kind of odd but hopefully season 2 isn't as shit as everyone makes it out to be. Also, started Rainbow this morning and first episode has me hooked already.
I'll just leave this here.
With this being the year of election, it has got me thinking quite a bit. He was this strong guy, who seemed He could overcome any aversity, possibly the impossible. Yet on the other hand, She was an incredibly strong & independent female. Though it was a man's world, She showed She could compete with the best, even being an asset. I spend quite a bit of time digging deep into their characters, trying to figure out who is my favorite - truly a hard decision.
When I was growing up, I would always hear curious people asking where you were at X time. I remember asking my grandfather where he was when Pearl Harbor happened. I asked my father where he was when Watergate occurred. I've even had people curious where I was when 9/11 occurred - This allows us not to forget these important events. It'll be interesting once I have my own children, and I'm trying to prepare myself. I could picture it now:
'My son, who is young but just now realizing that very important events happened before his birth, looks up at me. He's kicking the dirt around at his feet, you can almost taste his nervousness. He then blurts out the question he yearns for: "Father, where were you when Sword Art Online finished airing?". I try my best to not think about this terrible moment, but I give him the answer he needs.'
Kirito was truly the hero we needed, but sadly, not one we deserved. Asuna was a goddess who we just kicked to the curb. We must right this travesty - we must demand for SAO to return. In this dark time, they must be our light - let's make anime great again.
