Slower than i thought it would be tbh, but still a good bargain at 199.00. Thing is for me im so used to iron clad nvidia drivers i dont think i can purchase this card with the 1060 on the horizon.

Good try AMD, but too little too late.

    Im actually sad.

What's going on with these benchmarks though? Guru3D's page has it cuddling the GTX 980 ti, but LTT pegged it as weaker than the GTX 970.

EDIT: Ah. DX11 vs DX12 performance more or less.

Nvidia had more driver issues compared to AMD latetely I think.

I can only speak from my own experience, but I have zero problems with my 290x card regarding drivers.

Probably because it's good with dx12 but pretty much the same as 970 on dx11. I just think all nvidia has to do is drop the prices on their 970 and the AMD can't get much headway, which is quite sad

Please keep up, that is hitman (highly HIGHLY AMD favored bench). Ive seen 4 reviews now and the conclusion is the 480 is a 970 competitor (actually slower in a lot of games) 980 is completely out of reach.

If the RX 480 manages to keep the marketing train going as good as it is right now I think they'll be fine.

I can only speak from experience. My last 3 graphics cards were all nvidia (gt 240, gtx 465, gtx 760) and ive never had a single driver related crash. This is a large part of why i will not be purchasing the 480.

My god you need to get over yourself. I was honestly asking because I hadn't spotted it yet.

I think people greatly overestimated this card, some even going as far as saying it would be just behind a 1070. lol I'm loving it.

But if the stores are going to be marketing this product as similarily overpriced as 1080 and 1070 were then it's not good. It's gonna have to be pretty much dead on 199 for its performance

People are stupid, i was fairly close with my prediction but not quite. I was honestly expecting this to be a 970 killer, but it turns out to be just a 970 competitor...

Stock is rumored to be much better for the RX 480, so there should be no real card shortage along the lines of what GTX 1070/1080 had.

I think they really shot themselves in the leg with the whole 2x 480 > better than 1080. While it might be true in dx12 games etc, it really raised the hype on what a single card could do. Should've compared it to 1070 at the most.

All the reviews are confirming what we've seen in the first video. Overhyped product, same performance in most games and slower in others as 390 for the same price. I'm actually angry at my self for believing AMD but than again I don't really game on Windows so I will wait for Linux benchmarks.
