He is good at it, Ronaldo chose well. He looks like he is ordering him to at the start but then you see he is only encouraging him.

If it was Scotland I'd understand, but England and Wales don't have that kind of relationship, most of England will be cheering on Wales too, even though their players showed zero class by cheering when Iceland won
