I just don't think Trump cares if he offends people, so his campaign comes off as a little careless. I think that the fact that he doesn't care if he offends people will hurt him in the long run.

I also think someone else wrote the tweet, Trump looked at it quick and approved it (if he even bothered to look with all he probably has on his mind atm). When I first looked at it quick, I didn't see anything offensive. I still really don't but I can see how it might "trigger" some elements.

It is amusing that those defending Trump here choose to ignore the meme's origin and focus that the Star used is available in a software program as if that changes the origin on the meme and the previous work of the person who created it.
