They hyped up a secret fun thing, and it turned out being an unmoderated random giveaway that has no definite rules.

The website the streamers are using is inconsistent and rewards spamming.

It's bad enough that Blizzard hardly even moderates who gets access through their own invite waves. Now we have streamers who sit on keys, and as always, have a bunch to give away at the last minute because they were too slow to give them out.

what a total big piece of marketing BS! i'm done with waiting for streamers giving out keys. i would totally understand if they sent out keys by priority based on how long you've been activtely playing the game or better yet give it out to those who have pre-ordered the expansion half a year before it comes out.

I agree. When I first heard about this I imagined that we would kill demons IN GAME and have a small chance to loot a special item that would grant beta access. Now that would be cool.

Didn't Blizzard's teaser about this event say something like "Let's band together..". How are we banding together if we have to kiss the butt of asinine streamers OUTSIDE of the game?

I can't stand any twitch streamers! I don't watch Twitch gaming streamers at all... Only watch Geek and Sundry sometimes if someone is in their stream that I like and Critical Role the rest of Twitch is just junk content that is a waste of everyone's time... why watch some random dude play random games.... I blame them both to be honest, the streamers have known about it for weeks. Either way, it's a bit silly to do it like this.

Bajeera knew that the guy already had a key, and he knew the other guys picture wasn't a real screenshot. But he said "it's cool enough to bypass the rules." That is unfair to everyone following the rules. He took a key that someone that followed the rules could have got.

Hey man, I want to win one too but I'm gonna be realistic about it. Blizzard could've facilitated it better or guided them to use a certain method instead of letting them all decide at the last minute how to do it, i.e. scrolling through the most recent submissions which are mostly from people spamming to stay at the top of the live feed.
