Like I understand some don't like Social Media, but really the stupidity that you see is like mind boggling. People seriously thought they were getting pre-patch.

Tbh they should never do another streamer related thing again unless it comes from the Warcraft stream itself,
it is just bad for business and people get ticked off at some of these streamers and how they act.

That's horse shit and you know it. Majority of people don't actually like watching streamers. That is what this is all about. I hate it with a burning passion and refused to take part because it is not worth it. A beta code is worth nearly £110, you would have to pay me double that at least to watch a streamer for 10 minutes.

Streamers build their communities and blizzard just gave them rewards to hand out to the communities. Giving away beta keys is no different than giving away any other type of computer equipment. Streamer gets promoted -> gets merchandise -> Gives it away however he deems fit. It's his community and people who don't like him/her can just not be part of it.

My child plays WoW with me, and we were both looking forward to this event. Figuring it be whole some as well as a good opportunity to get beta keys (neither of us have one btw, she keeps begging me to buy one off ebay)

So we started watching Swifty and shortly into his broadcast we were subjected to a %@!*!!!# pick from a follower of his. Exposing my child and myself to unwanted pornography. I am completely outraged at this. You seriously failed at this event and this whole beta giveaway.

I'm so outraged and upset at this. Why not just do random give away contests like you have in the past rather than this terrible customer experience of what you're doing now

people who are posting here are pissed for 1 reason - if it was any other streamer posting a dick pic he would be instantly banned - guess big streamers can more and can care less.

He did not post a pic of a dick, he got sabotaged live by a troll/hater with a pic of a dick. Its completely different.

Any other streamer won't get banned because his/her community is so niche that they rarely have people who want to sabotage him/her, as long as their violation of content is non intentional.
Big streamers have constant haters that they have so much free time they actually act to sabotage them so it's completely rational that they have some leeway against sabotages or non intentional exposures, unless they occur daily and often.

A felony huh, if that is the case the mother shares some of that blame letting her child on the internet where such things can be viewed. Blizzard didn't do this, Swifty didn't do this. A person in the chat channel did it and even so I really doubt outside of some tos for twitch no rules/laws were broken. Why not blame twitch for allowing ppl to link things like this?

While felony is probably going too far, but it's violation of contract in the very least, it's about giving away keys to donors, showing porn on stream is twitch's responsibility, even though blizzard is partly to blame for trusting a 3rd party who clearly isn't intelligent enough to check links before showing them on stream.

There's nothing much else to say except that Swifty's giving out of beta keys favoring those who donate to the stream runs counter to the whole idea of the promotion and to me is a much worse thing than slipping up and allowing questionable content through.

Lets get something right people who degrade streamers and come into our channels from GD section to insult us are not considered our viewers. I consider my viewers those who apart of my community and participate in it. Twitch is way more responsible than Blizz is for this since he uses their service to stream and they are the ones who would be in trouble/held responsible if anything came to it

Wouldn't it only be swifty that is responsible for this. He has what 6 monitors or something? he could have looked before showing the winner on stream, Any streamer knows to do this when pictures are involved, You check everything off stream.

The only hand blizzard had in this was giving away the keys. If MMOchamp enter contest button linked you to porn would it be blizzards or MMOChampions? It was swifty who should've been monitoring what he was doing. But also this is something that happens in live streams very often.
