People seem to get offended by the most weirdest things possible lately.
In holland they are banning or changing plenty of words that have anything "black" in it even though it doesn't even mean anything towards the black culture. Like how sad do you need to be to want to ban "Black Friday" Like you get offended by something like that?
Same goes to our 100 year old cultures that we changing just because some special snowflake gets offended over nothing.

I think that this gets massively exaggerated. But lets take a look closer look.

-The people who complain about everyone being offended over things get offended by things that are offensive to them. There are "tough, Anti PC guys" that will scoff at 2 guys holding hands walking down the street and want laws made to make sure they can't live their lives happily."

-There are people who get offended over something like Pokemon Go

-Historically people were killed because others were offended by them and their lifestyle choices

-There are people who will get offended over Harriet Tubman on the new 20. And so on and so on.

-Trump complains out things being too PC all the time and how easily offended the liberals get. That guy gets offended more than any other presidential candidate in a long time. But people think that because he complains about PC that he's tough.


But people seem to only believe that the people getting offended over things are hipsters with bernie bumper stickers smoking american spirits. People like you are part of the problem. You exaggerate. Then you tell someone else "HEY DEEZ GUIZ WANNA BAN BLACK FRIDAY" and people start talking about it online. And then it spreads to "OMFG WE HAVE TO BAN BLACK FRIDAY NOW CUZ OF THIS WAVE OF PCNESS". And that's kind of a pussy thing. Just like the Hillary Clinton witch hunt. People are offended when she does something, ignores it when others do the same thing.

Can only speak for my own country, but yes. I don't mean that in a "the old days were better" way, but we have it easier now than ever. Compare generations in the last 100 years. Some of them have gone off to fight in wars, some occupied by enemy forces, some facing serious poverty, lack of opportunity, harsh lives of earlier lower class, malnutrition, and just in general a harder social, economic and political climate. Today's generation has it incredibly easy compared to most previous ones and developed the corresponding lack of resistance to hardship. Comparatively, we're pussies.

It really depends on what you mean by a "pussy" then. If someone who hasn't had a lot of experience being treated like shit by his boss goes out and kills his boss, is that "being a pussy"? Because it certainly takes some backbone to take a stand in such a way, while someone with more experience with hardship might just keep their head down and keep being shit on because "that's the way it is".
