So I started Shadow of Mordor for the first time yesterday. I'm enjoying it so far, although I'm finding the combat be a little shallow.

My objections weren't really "political" until recently, so much as "this movie looks like hot garbage and Ghostbusters is a franchise I'd rather see get good movies."

Recently, though, even the positive reviews have talked more about the "feminism" of the movie than the actual plot, dialogue, or jokes.

Originally, I thought the Ghostbusters film sucked just because the trailers looked awful.

Recently, people have been defending it by citing it's "powerful feminist message" and calling everyone misogynists that isn't hyped for it. So now, I hate it for political reasons in addition to the fact that it just looks awful.

Reading the Ghostbusters(2016) thread is...interesting.

I just went to see that, was pretty good. From the trailer I thought it was going to be pretty bad, but the trailer is pretty much all the worst parts of the movie :/

Even assuming the trailer is all the worst parts of the movie, I'm uninterested in seeing a movie that has put forth the worst information first.
