DH not eligible for mount loot from world bosses. save your coins

I understand that but there are already reports of people getting mounts from legacy raids. for instance there is a demon hunter who got the ragnaros mount recently on the mount post listed here.

I created mine on Tuesday and leveled up 3 on them on that date and did the world bosses on thursday and no loot was awarded then. Will test again on the next Tuesday.

You're not understanding the issue here. This has nothing to do with the age of the DH character.

Demon Hunters cannot obtain loot from MoP world bosses. They literally don't have a loot table assigned to them, which makes a degree of sense what with the MoP world bosses acting on a personal tap system that determines loot by the player's loot specialization. Going in and killing Arthas or Ragnaros or whatever doesn't run any sort of checks on what the player character is.

I know. I did galleon this time and got a leather gear from bonus roll but no gold bag still from kill. did not do the other world bosses.

I got loot boxes on my DH this morning doing world mounts, but I tried another DH about 15 mins ago and its back to no loot boxes.

Just killed Sha of Anger on EU (first kill on this DH), no loot. Was able to coin but just got gold. Sent a ticket to GM, hopefully I'll find the mount in my mail tomorrow

Because there's only class specific loots in the loot table, apart from the mount. If you didn't get anything it means you were supposed to get a loot but couldnt, because of this. I did it on 5 DH this week, 4 got a gold cache and 1 didnt get anything.

This. This is exactly why sometimes you get cache and stuff and sometimes you don't.

Reason you didn't get loot is because your roll gave you loot you couldn't receive, therefore you didn't get that loot or the gold box.

do u have more than 1 demon hunter on the same realm? maybe you can only loot once per demon hunter per week per realm

You can only have one on each realm.

Well that explains it, should still be fixed though.
