You have no reading comprehension. They can implement whatever systems they want but the requirement is a very strong and robust in-game community. The things I mentioned help turn WoW into a single player game.

If they roll out a "vanilla" server and they bolted on LFR and there's no global chat, I'm not playing it, because they would have completely missed what made vanilla great.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

So yes, absence of flight= absence of my money.
Agreed as I am at that same point as well.

I am sitting it out until Blizzard improves the game as Legion is currently incomplete.

There has been threads like this for every single expansion, lol. Its like deja vu.

Well as someone who have been in Legion since alpha, I still think it is the best expansion since TbC. Keep in mind I was playing vanilla wow before it was released - yay for beta testing
I know, there are still content patches being made, but if they keep the quality of the release version of Legion, it might end being the best expansion to date- at least that is my own opinion, and others might.disagree which is fine with me.

Not saying you're wrong OP, but less than 24 hours after the launch of an expansion isn't the time to be making that call.

And I'd say that I already got my money's worth just for the questing experience alone.

So global chat (which never existed apart from a brief stint as the Looking For Group channel) and getting rid of the LFG tool would Make WoW Great Again? Waiting hours with 4/5s of a group spamming trade looking for a healer sure was fun!

Gotta say one thing that really can't be argued by anyone except for the most diabolical of haters: Blizzard did a pretty good job of a solid, no dc, shit-free (except for the Huln quest in Highmountain) launch. Smoothest launch of an expansion in awhile. Maybe ever. Great job, Blizzard. You can keep taking my money.

Because that would be the major lore character. And it was your job to have that major lore character see the objective through.
So if you later read a book or something about the story in WoW... you can still read it like you were there in the backround.
I absolutely felt this in Dragonblight. From the moment you step into Wintergarde everything is so grim and hopeless, you do your best to aid the situation and make a difference but you still can't help losing comrades and ground, but all throughout you keep hearing the others talk about Bolvar. We have to hold on for Bolvar, once the Highlord comes back everything will be ok, he is gonna make things right, he will bring the Light with him, you'll see! And near the end, when we are ready to face off against the lich Thel'zan and we are overpowered by his magic, utterly hopeless, what happens? There he is, storming through the entrance of the crypt, his roar like thunder and his presence bolstering every soldier in that room. His words alone break the lich's spell and he commands us to victory. That feeling of being a soldier in the awe inspiring presence of something so much larger than yourself.

    That's gone now.

That isn't true because we have yet to see paek playing times yet.

Do I even care? Not really, being the head of my class (Warlock) was akin to someone saying I was way after the fact (and after being dead for most of it). It was just tossed out there....

"Oh, hey, so all of the original group is dead, you're the leader now...."

    "Umm, yea great....there's noone here."

Being the "Chosen one" is a tacked on notion really, I literally couldn't care less.
If you are progressing through content just to obtain gear, you are doing it wrong. You, in fact, are doing it exactly backwards.
You are the leader of the Black Harvest, go harvest some squirrels and crack some more nuts. Sir.

As Blizzard has finished their biggest project which was Overwatch they have switched alot of resources to WoW and it's noticeable, i really hope blizz will continue to invest in wow for many years to come because its an amazing game

    You can't possibly be serious.

However assuming that you are actually serious, if no flight until later is a deal breaker for you, I feel like playing WoW probably isn't good for your health regardless.

We will see. So far things look great!
I do feel a little apprehensive, though I suspect that's because the expansion has just started.

    This.

Wod at launch was awesome. It's up to blizzard to give content during the whole expansion. If not it will become the same bore fest WoD was.

Or they are simply quite young and need to feel important. Some of us, happy with who we are irl, do not need the make believe.

If it was so good you would be playing it and not spend your time on MMO-c.

You are Bolivar now. You bust in and save people, being awesome. You wield ancient relics. You are the awesome hero.
