Is there catch up for alts on 110 content?

I'm going to level one Alliance character (DK, mage, or paladin) up since I have many friends there but after that, I'll just be leveling via rested exp, if at all. Might just wait for a straight eventual nerfs to leveling aspects to maybe no additional alts at all.

I know this sounds like a hard spill, but you sadly have to play the game on all your other characters. Blizzard have been very direct with their alt design in Legion and that is, that you should not see alts as a 2nd state character compared to your main, but as a secoundary character, who can stand on its own. There will proberly be some nerfs to reps in the future, but right now, if it takes 150 hours of work on 1 character to get them up to speed, it will take 150 hours on the 2nd character aswell.

But if you really like alting then this should not be a problem If you find having to play through the content again quite hardsome, then write to Blizzard about their content, not their vision on altfriendlyness.

don't expect to level up 10+ toons straight away, given the amount of effort and amount of content there is at endgame..

I can't emphasize this enough, procrastination is KEY.

My plan is to work them all simultaneously rather than rush one char to 110 and have a bunch still at 100.

Right now I have 3 almost 4 level 101 and I have enjoyed it, I park each one in the class hall, build up the rest bonus and just go out and do it again on the next one. the thing is, I don't read quest text etc on the alts, so it does go a lot faster. Especially with rest bonus.

Offtopic, but I think that's one of the best features of FFXIV. One character for every class.

I would say I don't know why WoW doesn't do the same, but it's obvious they see alts as another potential time-sink (the more alts you level, the longer you'll stay subscribed).

The expansion has barely started and people already want catchup for alts? It will most likely come in future patches, as was the case in past expansions...

And if it doesn't, then tough shit, don't play alts if you don't want to do content with them.

You are thinking of AP points you gain if you do research. Order halls progression is pretty static.

Would be nice if they re-introduced those tokens like they did in MoP. Reach revered on one character, then buy an item to double the reputation gains on all characters on your account.

I really hope they do something for the reputation, i mean with a character with exalted in every faction should be account wilde the gear you can buy from the quartermaster or at least unlock all the world quest after completing the storyline of every zone without grinding again reputation in alts.
