Calling a black person a monkey doesn't make them racist, unless it was to imply the black monkey racist tone. I remember in basic training, dude was acting up and was I like "damn boy, chill out" spoken in the tone of a very laid back way, like you'd half laugh speak at one of your friend who was upset about something stupid. He got REALLY pissed, climbed over beds and got in my face like "who you calling boy" and shit. He was from the south, I'm from NY.
That implied aspect is hard to judge.
Agreed. But those consequences should not be determined and enforced by the government. If someone wants to punch you in the dick for being a racist then so be it. But the government shouldn't be able to fine you and possibly jail you for saying stupid shit.
Oooh that'll do it. I approve.
Well I just figured that you'd have some ideas.
Are you honestly saying taking the money back, plus some interest, is gonna actually deter people from doing it again? Can I have some of what you're having?
While violence should not be our first resort in these various situations sometimes it's the best thing for the job. People don't learn by a slap on the wrist. They learn by a punch to the face.

And? It's a shitty thing to say to someone but it shouldn't be illegal.
"Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.” - General James Mattis
Besides it's just a fucking fine, some people like to pretend he was raided and locked up for years just to fit their absurd view of reality
Which I don't get that either. Especially when it's online. Very rarely does any site now not have a way to block someone who is harassing you.
Then again I think this all stems to people are much more sensitive these days and can't stand being called names and shit that "hurt" you.
And I could certainly argue it's not working for you (my guess is you are in Europe) but since you don't want to discuss any further I'll let it go
I hope you have a great day!!
"Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.” - General James Mattis
As I mentioned earlier, this is to do with the form of communication, it originates in laws from the 1860s to stop people sending hate mail and telegraphs, such as "Dear Mrs Jones, your son is dead" when they weren't dead and the sole reason to send it was to cause distress. It is not a recent innovation.
Is that why southern fairys call people from the north, northern monkeys because instead of a bit of banter they actually got miners confused with west indies immigrants and went a bit racist?????????????????

This is more or less the quote.
It's not very noteworthy compared to the possible police brutality. The question is how did they get his details assuming reddit didn't hand them over.Prosecutor David Maxwell said police were conducting intelligence research when they came across the offensive post under the name Rolfie 420. Mr Maxwell said the post referred to articles O’Connell said he had read in the media and which he said referred to witnesses describing Mohammed as having been bare-foot, wielding a 12-inch machete and trying to rob two teenage girls of their mobile phones, before knocking over an elderly woman damaging her back.
“He was a good for nothing spice smoking monkey from Toxteth”, O’Connell posted.
I would say that depends on the severity and what was said. Probably 90% or so I would agree with you, but to the people who stalk online and send actual hate mail and convince teenagers to kill themselves, those people are as viable as real criminals.
Further, there's a fine line between "you're a fag lol" and "your family deserves to be murdered, kill yourself" and shit like that.
[Last one:] big difference between "rip" and "fucking kill yourself". Just say "rip" and "uninstall", those are funny and convey your intended message, which is [non-harmful] trash talking.

Pity that our police are going after stuff like this instead of looking into actual crimes. But then again I'm not surprised, from what I've seen our cops are lazier than the American stereotype.
