First presidential debate - September 26: Trump vs Hillary

90% of people already know for whom they'll vote. Tonight didn't change my stance.

I cringed at all the lies Hillary threw at Trump though. Although she had some strong arguments at points. In a way, I was impressed by her political profesionnalism, but ultimately her corruption and her tarnishing campaign against Trump hit her back in the end.

So I think Trump won the debate. No, you won't change my opinion on that.

I'm thinking most of the people congratulating Hillary on her victory tonight are people who'd be voting for her anyway. Are there any third candidate voters here who absolutely will not vote for Hillary, who still think she won hands down? Because I'm feeling there's a bit of a lack of objectivity here.

Trump supporters won't care about what she said. Trump didn't lose a single one of them I'm thinking.

Often a multifaceted statement comes off as rambling to people who aren't mentally quick enough to keep up.

When politicians have their message crafted for them (speech, tweets, etc) they speak in dumbed-down mcnuggets because they expect the least of people.

Hillary is very practiced at this so its become natural for her to speak in this manner.

Trump's not a career politician, when he speaks on something he draws upon a lot of elements.

Even if I supported Trump, I would conclude that he has lost the debates badly. Hillary has had a few weak moments as well, especially when she was attacking his personality and background, rather than policies - but, come on now, it was like a discussion between a professor and a peasant.

Trump would last 4 years and Congress could keep him maintained.

He has his trust in the right people to guide him, people that can be trusted.

If Hillary wins shes in it for 8 years because the country will degrade in the first 4 to a point of no return.

Hillary surrounds herself with crooks and liars because that's what you have to be to have lived in professional politics that long.

You can endure Trump, you will collapse under Hillary.

The wealthy however will continue to be wealthy regardless of which of these two clowns is chosen.

Its a choice between one or the other. Even if neither are good, one is obviously much worse than the other, and that one is Trump.

Voting 3rd party is also a choice and so is not voting. I would love to see a day where everyone stood up and said no then didn't vote.

I wonder what would happen then. Buy sadly you got people who think there side is good when in fact both is bad.
