All the possibilities for tiebreaker chaos and we got nothing. Predictions:

    Jays over O's
    Giants over Mets

    Sox over Tribe
    Jays over Rangers

    Nats over Dodgers
    Cubs over Giants

    Sox over Jays
    Cubs over Nats

    Cubs over Sox

    RIP me

Gonna be hard to top the Cubs, they're the only ones not drowning in injuries, god I hate them and their 5 starting pitchers that combined for 152 starts.

Well, the 5th starter doesn't matter in the postseason so there is that...

Yeah Lackey was the only one who went to the DL, and he only missed 3 starts. So it really could have been 159/162 started by our actual starting 5, but we went to a 6 man rotation to start giving guys more rest.

Schwarber sacrificed himself to take all of the injury voodoo.

In a win or go home scenario. Either way, Bumgarner's gotta see some regression in his postseason numbers...right?

Bum with the 2 hit CGHO, Thor 7 innings, 4 hits 12 Ks 1 ER... that 1 ER is a 412 poke by Madbum. /wrists

Finished 3rd in Fantasy baseball, got fee $ back. Runs slipped throughout the season, people like Brandon Belt and Mazara were first half guys. Lost Harrison toward the end, but was lucky enough to dump Molina and pickup Sanchez very early. Late season pickups like Cotton, Asher, and Reyes helped push some pitching numbers. Fielding only JF16 on September 25th didn't affect my standing, but it would have affected the 1/2 tie for first, as Cotton/Britton/Chapman were stellar - that would have been enough to steal a point in WHIP.

Arizona fires everybody, how soon until San Diego follows suit? The media darlings of the past two offseasons were both terrible and SD's GM is reviled league wide for his questionable policies related to injury information.

Marlins fire Barry Bonds & Lenny Harris. I guess any illusions Mattingly had about his job being secure are gone now, he is already under fire and having to make changes.

And if it comes down to that it will have been because the Dodgers allowed themselves to be swept in the final season series. That would be good drama.

I think Leafs fans could learn a thing or two about cheering at hockey games from the people at Jays games. It's god damn loud in there tonight!

Holy fuck what a game. I feel for Baltimore, they deserved to win that game as much as Toronto did. No sympathy for Mr. "I Make Up My Own Rules" Showalter, but their pitchers went out to damn well win, but Hannibal Sanchez has a tough time with situations like that. He served up a delicious pitch for Eddie to hit.

Somebody should let the Mets know the Giants bullpen is terrible, they're never gonna see it with all these 7 pitch innings, Bumgarner is eating 'em up while Syndergaard is working harder striking everybody out.

yep, Bumgarner made it through the whole game and the Mets bullpen bungled it

Damn, that was a freakishly good prediction. Hard to be mad if I was in your position. Really hard to imagine that a rotation sans deGrom, Harvey, and Matz would have been able to get back to the World Series. Biggest thing I would be worried about is Harvey because he was pretty bad even when "healthy" this year.

Texas looking more like a team that shouldn't have won their division. Hoping for an all AL East show down for the ALCS, Jays vs Red Sox.

He had a decent 4-5 game stretch but even in that stretch, we were waiting for the wheels to come off each start. Funny thing, the pitcher we traded for Cespedes, let the AL in ERA - Fulmer.
