Real talk - what the fuck is up with Pence and "broad shoulders". He loves using it as a positive descriptor for things.
I agree. It's just that his message seems self-contradictory. When Kaine says that Trump is going to discriminate against Muslims, Syrians, etc., Pence shakes head and says, "Absolutely not". Then he himself says that Trump is actually going to do it, and that it is the right thing to do.
Pence threw out a comment which underlines perfectly why I don't want Finland ever to be a part of NATO; the attitude that the US should just plant missile defense systems in foreign sovereign countries, assuming that the US just simply has the right to do that, and that the governments of those countries - Poland and Czechia (yeah, that's what they call themselves now) - have no say in the matter.
The word "feckless" needs to die.
So is this what a debate looks like when both candidates know what they are talking about and come prepared?
Pence has been contradicting his own ticket's platform all night. Basically just wants to deny Trump is his running mate.
