No need for the hostilities since the timelines were covered on the previous page. Here's a hint there is more than just 2 timelines. Also if you had watched any of the recent episodes all Black/Zamasu had to do to take care of Beerus/Whis was kill all the other Kaioshins as their lives are linked to each other which is well within his power level.

Yeah an unfortunate circumstance given that DB/Z/Super has had at least to me an appealing enough story line to give it at least some notice and attention that and some fights are made even better with understanding the storyline that built up to it.

I'm going with the whole 'Super Saiyans who experience the power of the gods absorb and awaken the power of the gods within themselves' theory. Trunks was struck by Vegeta, who had the power of the gods, and so Trunks absorbed the power of the gods and got a major power-up, similar to how Goku got a major power-up after experiencing Saiyan God power. So Trunks is sort've in the same state Goku was in before he developed Super Saiyan Blue.

if I had to put DBZ and DBS villain from best to worst then it would be like this:

Goku Black/Zamasu/Frieza - they had a goal and were fleshed out and they are very cool

Cell/Majon Buu - never liked them. Cell was about absorbing and getting stronger and his main goal was to achieve his Perfect form to test it out. Majin Buu had no purpose and was doing what the others told him to do, not to mention he started to absorb people which is basically a rip off from Cell which annoyed me.

How exactly are you rating zamasu at the top? he's probably the most stupid DB villain ever made, he had access to the dragon ball and instead of wishing for the entire human race of all universe to be gone, he decided to do it on his own wish we all know ALWAYS end ups bad for the villain, at least mboo always had a backup plan like keeping parts of his body around just in case

any villain is stupid and the reason why he didn't is because of plot, obviously. they did destroy the entire mortal race, Gods etc. only Earth remains. keep in mind that Goku Black wants to not just wipe out everyone but he also wants to get stronger and to achieve that he wants to fight someone strong like Goku when he followed Trunks in the past which caught his interest and one of the main reason why Goku Black and Zamasu were waiting for them. even if he wished for the total destruction of all mortal races then Trunks would have died too and that would be bad.... very, very bad and we wouldn't have an arc.

also, we need brutal stuff so just wishing them away would be overly boring.

Because wishing for all of the entirety of the human race dead wouldn't get rid of the Saiyans which pissed him off primarily in the first place.

Also if you can still kill all of the mortals while making yourself stronger in the process, by making yourself immortal, why not go with the thing the benefits you even more?

He wants to make the filthy ningen suffer with his own hands. That's why he didn't simply wish them away, or just blow up the planet with everyone on it. That's how I see it, anyway.

No because of Beerus killing him the actual present timeline split in 2, in the original one Zamasu switches bodies in the other one Beerus kills him.
