Why wouldn't it be 5. Clearly that function is undefined at 5

The limit is unconcerned where it's undefined, it's zero because as the x gets larger (after x = 5), the denominator gets larger, making the number smaller. The graph of that function would be a wave function where at x = 0 it would be 1/5, then it would curve outward growing larger until you reached x = 5, where it would be undefined, then it would grow smaller and smaller as you approached positive infinity.
