Just letting you know there's no template for chat covers as everyones chat dimensions in their ui are usually unique. Usually a fullscreen screenshot will suffice if you can't figure out what the dimensions of your chatbox are

Majority, if not all, don't like to hand over their PSD files so it can be edited and/or claimed by someone else.

Not to mention, it also can be insulting to have our work edited.

In the few cases I've had someone ask for it I just flattened the final image and left the text layers alone. I'm not getting paid for it, nor do I have any rights to it since I'm not entirely sure it falls under free use.

Way back when in a graphics forum I was on, that's what I did when I made scrapbook sigs with renders from artists. That way if they wanted to change the font on their name it was easy and I didn't have go back and remake it.

Just makes sense for stuff like a twitch banner or something that has stuff that can change ie a streaming schedule. That's just my personal opinion on the subject.

On a different subject, has anyone gotten WMV to work with legion stuff yet? I haven't had a chance to sit down and mess with it, but I'm eagerly awaiting being able to use WMV again.

I'd be against even doing this, as I'm very picky with text placement, size, font and color. Anything I make represents me as an artist, and I don't want to see it altered elsewhere. I may not like what they did with the font, and others may see it and think it was done by me.

That's just me, though. You may not be bothered with such things

Depends on what it is usually. Like for sigs or banners, I refuse to do that and i'll just remake it myself (I'm sure you have an ever growing collection of folders for it)

But for stream schedule or something like it i'll usually put it in a spot that's fairly neutral in my overall design.

Also very upset but was working on something for myself and my PSD got corrupted :C

You still can't import characters or look at anything other than NPCs, so--it's still not working in ways that matter to most of us here, generally speaking.

I won't give PSD files up, unless it's for something like a changing stream schedule, even so I prefer to edit it myself. I'm happy for people to come back to me and ask for the text to be changed, but I've blacklisted plenty of people from this forum (my own personal blacklist of people I won't do things for) because they've drastically edited either me or my friends work without notice. They gave it to someone else who used to do signatures here, and they edited our work without permission. Not on.

Are we up and running again? I would still love to have a banner similar to what I tried to make below. The basic idea is my two co-mains for Legion, Benhir & Felfaadaern, paladin and demon hunter, presented as yin & yang.

Similarities: both are tanks, both have horns and top knots.

Differences: holy & fel, strict sense of honor vs. ruthless pragmatism, deontology vs consequentialism.
