I like it. It's a handheld. It's a tablet. It's a home console.
The pro controller looks fucking sweet, both the Mobile and HC modes look super sleek and modern.
My main concerns for the console are still unanswered.
Will this thing reach parity with OG XB1 and OG PS4 at least? When docked that is.
Has Ninty improved it's OS and online ecosystem?
What's the price?
Before I make the leap, I need them questions answered. THEN I shall proceed to pre order =)
Of all losses, time is the most irrecuperable for it can never be redeemed

This is what the Wii U should have been! At a first glance, it looks like they fixed literally everything wrong with the prior systems.
Okay I saw the two item boxes, but Yoshi's Circuit from Double Dash is apart of the first MK8 DLC.
So, finally, the console goes with me instead of the gamepad with a stream to the console. And why I'm saying just console? It's a handheld-console hybrid thingy!
I love switching places while I game with the Wii U, but the walls block my signal D:
Looks... interesting. Though I fear mobile performance will be an issue for many third party games, because crappy ports with crappy scaling.
Also my hopes for the first Nintendo console technically on par with current gen (on release day) are crushed once again.
I'll be trading in most of my Wii U (console later if they allow game transfers from the Wii U) collection towards this TBH.
Getting replacement Wii U pads later on down the road will be a pain in the ass.
Tikki tikki tembo, Usagi no Yojimbo, chari bari ruchi pip peri pembo!
Guys, I want this to do well for a very interesting reason
If its portable, and all games are made to become portable... that may destroy the idea of always online.
So for years people have been saying "Nintendo has always done well in the handheld market, they should focus on that and not consoles."
Their reply is to make a machine that does both. Absolutely genius.
Jim Sterling's thoughts. He likes the idea, but has some obvious concerns.
