I'm ashamed to admit it in public, but I like Jhon Oliver. He can get too preachy in some occasions, but when he nails it, he nails it.

Oh, I agree, and I actually like his show. And he's usually pretty fair, but for this election, he totally fell into that camp with the rest of them, predicting that a Trump election would be the apocalypse and how you were stupid if you voted for him and a Hillary victory was assured anyways. I want to see the look on his face when he covers this on his next show.

I'll say this, I was one of those who voted for Trump mostly because I saw a vote for him as a vote AGAINST Hillary. I don't have any particular fondness for him, but I am hopeful that he actually turns into a decent president over the next few months. I will say this: Trump won an enormous, ridiculously uphill battle. He fought the media, he fought both political parties, and he won. This was an upset in every sense of the word. I have to at least have a little respect for the fact that he actually managed to pull this off when a year ago, the very idea of him actually winning was a joke.
