Trump to end US support for syrian rebels

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...-a7413346.html

So much for Trump being a dangerous warmonger and a threat for world peace Now america and russia will finally work together to destroy islamists, no matter how much liberals will gnash their teeth.

Never mind that lots of refugees are fleeing Assad....

This comment displays such an utter ignorance for what's actually going on that it makes my head spin.

    Oh Jesus....you trumpists.

The rebels are fighting Assad and ISIS. They don't want a dictator in charge and don't want to be ruled by a bunch of religious nutters. Assad is aligned with Russia. Assad and the Russians are fighting the Rebels while leaving ISIS virtually untouched. They hope ISIS will mostly do their job for them.

Now Trump comes along. He wants to cosy up to Russia because he thinks Putin is such a great guy. So he stops helping the rebels. The end result will be that the major group fighting ISIS, the rebels, are going to get crushed by Assad and Russia. What is the next step after that do you think? Yes, Trump is going to want to help Russia fight ISIS. In essence we will end up working with Russia to install a murderous dictator into power in Syria.

But then you probably think that's great.....

Yes as I thought, you think its great to have a despot in power who kills his own people, rigs elections, and terrorizes everyone into obedience. Great legitimacy there. The true Trumpist dream.

And oh look Zionist masters..... anymore dogwhistle bigotry you'd like to post? Or are you done here and going back to your deplorables basket?

    Good.

    Very good.

Enough of the terrible foreign policy that costs us tons of money and does not benefit the American people.

Al Qaida, Isis, all built up and trained by the US until these once 'moderate' terrorists decided to turn their attention to the West.

Never mind that Assad is one of the more secular leaders. I mean for holy fucks sake ISIL and super duper fundamentalists are the ones fighting him for the most part. If Christian fundamentalists started a civil war in the USA, I'd do my duty to protect my state's freedom. Why the flying fuck can't these guys do the same (ok ok, women with children are allowed). Also, they are going to places which give them the most benefits. Refugees do not seek out permanent stay, sometimes they have to stay, but the people flowing over are there mainly for benefits. So are you denying known facts like ISIS and rebels fight each other more than Assad fights ISIS? Or that this war started by Assad loyalists under his orders firing on peaceful unarmed protesters? Or that the vote was not legit? Or that he used chemical weapons on his own people? Or that the vast majority of rebels are actually soldiers that refused to kill the civilians Assad ordered to be killed for peaceful protesting?

Putin's puppet, Trump, agrees with Putin to keep Putin's ally, Assad, in power by killing all of the moderate rebels fighting him.

American foreign policy is now whatever Putin wants.

OMG it was not an Islamic uprising, it was Assad ordering his troops to shoot at and murder peaceful protesters that started this with other soldiers telling him fuck no beginning the fight against him. How do people forget this part?

I thought I heard everyone saying we should stop arming them and leave them be, before it was trump who decided he wanted to do that. Then all of a sudden its horrible.

Honestly, I have no idea how a guy like Assad ever managed to be this resilient. For starters, the guy looks like a complete milquetoast pansy who doesn't seem fit to lead a parade much less a country, and with the kind of military strongmen and religious fanatics he'd have to maneuver around while in power it's a miracle he even lasted for 10 years even without a massive civil war. And then when the rebellion began his side was getting its ass thoroughly kicked with mass defections to the rebel side, and it seemed inevitable he was going to go the way of Mubarak or Gaddafi. The rise of ISIS, which he certainly had a hand in, pretty much saved his regime, because now all of he sudden the dictator using sarin gas on his own people looks like the reasonable one, and the international community is completely paralyzed at the thought of intervening in a war with no clear good side.

I like the idea of the USA joining forces with Russia to kick ISIS in the butt.

However, the British want ASSAD gone.. Which I think is a stupid idea.

Because countries become much worse , as we have seen from the toppling of a dictator like Saddam in Iraq & Ghaddafi in Libya
Even in Europe when TITO the ruler of old Yugoslavia died.. It ended up in a factional war.

Who will rule Syria if Assad goes.?. A bunch of fighting factions that's who. And things will get worse than now.
