Do you have/will you get kids?

For me, the answer is a short NO! What about you? Pros and cons?

For the moment and foreseeable future no I don't want kids but who knows? I'm still young and who knows how I'll feel in my 30s. To me kids are nothing but cons right now, I can't see one benefit to them that would make my life better and not just a miserable decade+ of "child" years.

But then again people who were against kids and had them end up loving them usually. Biology n such /shrug

    Yes, I want kids.
Kids tend to be awesome and while they'll become the biggest part of my life for a few years after it happens and in lots of ways make everything a huge pain. Fairly sure it'll be worth it in the end.

My nephews are some of my favorite people in the world.

Need to work a bit on whom I shall have them with, but not that old yet.

No, there's no logical reason for me to have kids. I don't want them and I don't feel the need to give into my natural "instinct" to spread my genes, my wife feels the same way. We want to live our lives, not bring more people into the world to deal with all this bullshit. We also like having disposable income and freedom to do what we want when we want, not stay up all night listening to crying. I live with a roommate who has a 1 year old and another on the way. All I hear is fucking crying and arguing between her and her husband over who had the baby last. I do NOT want that for myself.

No. I enjoy doing whatever I want, when I want. Also I enjoy quiet at night trying to sleep.

I really want children. I'm unable to have any right now, but hopefully, I'll be able to again someday (unfortunate side effect of treatments I've had this year). I'd really like to have 2 kids, but I'd really be happy just having at least one.

Well you need to have a date first...
They always told me I would miss my family... but I never miss from close range.

I have one, probably will be it unless something crazy happens which is always possible.

Really great event in my life that the horde of forever alones and me first and always will never get.

Yup have two. They are both the most difficult and greatest thing in your life. Definitely not for the selfish. But they do give you a purpose.

Absolutely not, none is getting my money.

I'm only 22, but I have a strong opposition to having offspring. I make enough money to make myself happy, support my hobbies, and travel where I want to go. But I couldn't do all that and support a child; therefore I don't think I'd be able to put the child's needs above my own, so, for their best interest, I think abstaining from parenthood is best.

I'm married and don't want kids. My wife desperately wants them.

It might lead to us getting divorced...we'll see.
