Seems the agreement was to keep their factories in the US for 700k in tax breaks a year, not to keep workers employed. Half of those jobs were already moved to Mexico and they're keeping the other half for the tax breaks and juicy socialist government contracts that Trumpkins are going to love handing out for the next 4 years. Then when they automate all the floor jobs and keep on 50 engineers - that's it - Trumpers will call it a win. Cause it's totally worth picking winners and losers in business and millions in taxpayer dollars for a few dated jobs.

He's lied about his wealth, he's pretty much lied about everything. What's funny is I got into it with a Trumpkin over "It's not LYING, it's just EXAGGERATING," as if exaggerating as if the exaggeration is the truth isn't lying.
2014 Gamergate: "If you want games without hyper sexualized female characters and representation, then learn to code!"
2023: "What's with all these massively successful games with ugly (realistic) women? How could this have happened?!"
What do you mean to be fair?
The entire Bush policy involved trickle down economics, it was this principle that brought down the US economy and what effected the world economy as a whole and not anything that Clinton did.
Republican politics always come back to trickle down, this is by definition the stupidest thing people ever came up with unless their only intention was to enrich themselves.
Donald Trump could fucking resurrect Jesus and Cure Cancer for all I care, he still deserves every bad thing that happens to him.
EVERY bad thing
It's the policy that comes with it and how it effects government spending.
If you lower taxes and regulations just so it benefits a small percentage of people it doesn't create jobs, it hurts jobs because government gets less revenue which results in less government spending.
Government needs to spend money, it allows normal citizens more breathing space when it comes to their own financial situation.
As an update the carrier CEO just gave an interview to Jim Cramer -

The stand out bit is this -
So it looks like those jobs are only going to be saved for a few years. They will quite soon be automated away.JIM CRAMER: But if you-- come up with a not competitive-- okay-- not competitive, whatever. You-- not competitive engines. You will lose to others.
GREG HAYES: Right. Well, and again, if you think about what we talked about last week we're gonna make up $16 million investment in that factory in Indianapolis to automate to drive the cost down so that we can continue to be competitive. Now is it as cheap as moving to Mexico with lower cost labor? No. But we will make that plant competitive just because we'll make the capital investments there.
JIM CRAMER: Right.
GREG HAYES: But what that ultimately means is there will be fewer jobs.

Also as far as the $50 billion, this was something planned in October when Nobody thought Donald had a chance, (The republicans and even Fox news had written him off), so most likely Donny did jack squat and is taking credit for it. http://money.cnn.com/2016/12/06/tech...ank/index.html It's crony capitalism at its worst. Your ability to succeed in business is based on your relationships with people in government rather than a fair playing field.

If you push a button that finds you a 'random group' and it gives you a random group of people with random skill and random knowledge then you have no right to complain that a 'random group' button did what it was designed to do. The fault lies in your inability to make friends to play with instead of relying on a button designed to be random. It is a 'random group' button, not a 'best of the best' button.
