I hate to be "that guy"...but are there darker or more *sigh* "edgy" armor sets in the game? In WoW i always enjoyed playing classes like warlock and rogue because of how the armor looked more dark and sinister because that's just how I envision my own characters. I know FF14's armor sets are more reserved and subtle than WoW's but just wondering if there were more sets akin to the caster set you get from Brayflox? I haven't been subbed in a year but I really thought that set was cool looking on my character..I can't remember the name.

Yes. Ninjas, Warriors and Dark Knights have a 'dark' and 'edgy' look to them in terms of certain gear sets, weapon design and animations. Black Mages too. The gear design in the game is fairly varied - I'm sure there's stuff for every class that would fit your preferred aesthetic and every patch brings a bunch of new equipment too.

Decided to switch from Maelstrom to Immortal Flames because I was under the impression you had to buy chocobo bardings from all 3 GCs for the Cavalier title...only to realize you only have to buy all 3 of the bardings that the GCs offer (basic one, middle one, then the grand one or whatever).

No biggie; turns out I've been able to make the most of this new Flames gear:





Now to farm up the DoW and DoM ones from allied seals...

Looks good! I'm tempted to switch from Adders to Flames or Maelstrom myself - Adders gear is pretty bland in comparison.

I love both the Mealstrom and Flames gear, it's not really Ralqadar's style though. I do however find them both gorgeous.

If you use an emote and then /gpose, put on the sleep status effect, your character will do the emote slowly. Kinda funny.
