Well, he's sure done his best to earn this sort of reaction. Although, people that riot are usually just seeking an excuse to... well, riot. But I'm sure the Trump fanboys overlook this fact considering how apt they are at ignoring other facts of this world in the name of populistic nationalism.

A good reason for riots? The government actually being tyrannical? Not self-induced fever dreams that comes from starting with the conclusion that Trump is the second Hitler and then looking at anything he says through that lens to try and find things to support your conclusion.

And trust me, if the government was actually tyrannical, riots wouldn't end half as well for the people rioting as they do now. In most of the worse cases, they get locked up for a night for heavy property damage, or if they actually assaulted someone, for a longer time (which is just part of the law as it goes), or they get to go home and continue resisting the enemy in their mind from the comfort of their armchair.

They don't, for instance, get locked in camps for rioting and daring to oppose the government.

so what you and other posters keep illustrating is, by the time a tyrannical government has taken hold it is far too late to protest it. which is why you do it when things seem like they are heading in that direction, beforehand.
