Well, he's sure done his best to earn this sort of reaction. Although, people that riot are usually just seeking an excuse to... well, riot. But I'm sure the Trump fanboys overlook this fact considering how apt they are at ignoring other facts of this world in the name of populistic nationalism.

A good reason for riots? The government actually being tyrannical? Not self-induced fever dreams that comes from starting with the conclusion that Trump is the second Hitler and then looking at anything he says through that lens to try and find things to support your conclusion.

And trust me, if the government was actually tyrannical, riots wouldn't end half as well for the people rioting as they do now. In most of the worse cases, they get locked up for a night for heavy property damage, or if they actually assaulted someone, for a longer time (which is just part of the law as it goes), or they get to go home and continue resisting the enemy in their mind from the comfort of their armchair.

They don't, for instance, get locked in camps for rioting and daring to oppose the government.

Good job picking the most extreme picture you can think of. You do know there are a lot of people who dislike what he's aiming for right? Or would you rather I get the picture of people protesting Obama with 'Kill Obamacare!' while saying they like the ACA, not knowing that they're the same thing?

Deploying the national guard over some windows and a burning limo would be more than a little ridiculous

so what you and other posters keep illustrating is, by the time a tyrannical government has taken hold it is far too late to protest it. which is why you do it when things seem like they are heading in that direction, beforehand.

    Why?

You have a right to protest, you don't have a right to destroy peoples property because of fee fee's. If some of these dirt bag cowardly shits were destroyed (yes cowardly, why else would the be wearing masks) the nation would be better off

Peaceful, tolerant, and progressive left rioting? That's crazy!

Unsurprising, but sad. These extremists are simply confirming the belief that these groups that want "peace" are hypocrites.

Meanwhile, people who want true equality (Read: moderates) and peace can't help but be at home and put their hand on their forehead, wondering how the US became ground for such irrational behavior.

Not when the whole "it seems like things are heading in that direction." is all concocted by your own paranoid mind as you choke on your own (or the media's) fear-mongering about how Trump is totally going to become a dictator and America will never recover.

It's funny, all of this resistance is in no way being violently suppressed by this government that is supposedly heading towards fascism with Trump.

In fact, these rioters are treated like babies by the government that assumes a babysitter role. "Oh, protesting against us? That's so cute. Just don't destroy things again, sweetie."

Truly the hallmark of a tyrannical and oppressive regime.

Nice nation bashing, there. Too bad it doesn't change the reality that trump won.

No. People who claim the left as their reason to cause damage. It's always adorable when the acts of 10-15 people somehow represent millions.

Businesses didn't get burned down, and the police were able to handle it just fine.

Get over it Trumpettes, people don't like him. In fact, most of the voting population doesn't.
