the problem with this idea is that when Obamacare came into affect all of us that work had insurance increases because of Obamacare. You think when its gone the Insurance companies are going to lower our premiums back down? Hell no

Obamacare was NEVER indented to last, it was just a ploy by the government to help the insurance companies legally raise the insurance rates across the board.

Basically your saying that big businesses and government are hand-in-hand...

    Not a surprise.

One major flaw in your argument insurance companies were raising rates at a even higher percentage before Obamacare, there is nor has there ever been laws against insurance companies raising rates.

    Indeed.

My point was simply this: I often see the "Why should my taxes pay for other people's healthcare?" argument, but never the "Why should my taxes pay for other people's education?" argument.

A lot of people don't have kids. Why should they pay for other people's kids to attend school? Surely it's the same argument as the one used against paying for other peoples healthcare.

(Personally I'm in favour of state healthcare and state education, just want to hear other peoples' views)

Your two statements are hilariously hypocritical. "You sound like incredibly childish" is EXACTLY what those who oppose Trump are doing, right now. Your second one "You sound almost as petty as Republican leaders..." is EXACTLY what those who oppose Trump are doing, right now.

I mean give the guy a chance? After ~100 days or so, now start protesting/marching/banging the drums. The people with a brain realize campaign talk is just that. It's to get you elected. I mean, how can anyone disagree with that? Every single politician promises everything, even though very few things can actually be accomplished by just that one person yet people take it as gospel.

I didn't vote for any of them, and while I'm cautiously optimistic about Trump, he really did surprise me how he handled himself yesterday. But again, give him a chance at least, fuck.

I despise ACA as much as the next guy, but hot damn! Now the entire democratic party is in the pockets of the health insurance industry?

Oh I totally feel this same way. I should not be paying for anything for anyone. I have zero problems with what temporary welfare programs were meant to be, temporary, for the people truly having a hard time. Why should people without kids have to pay school taxes? Why should a few pennies of my taxes go to pay for my neighbors insurance subsidy?

Again, I have no problem with temporary assistance programs, if they are temporary. Not literally years worth of living off every government program the government offers.

Pretty sure he was referring to the red staters, those particular insisting "Keep your government hands off my medicare..."

I'd be ok with that too, I had to pay for all my own education as well.

Ahh no I'm not talking about you personally. But your description of the people you encountered. Red voters angry at Obamacare when they consume something that has the same ideological redistributive basis.

Most people on obamacare are poor minorities. The republcians pay the taxes in America, the 47% are mostly democrats.

    You really are ignorant...

Poorest states tend to be red states. The take more in federal support than they pay back in taxes.
Once that federal support is gone...I'm sure they'll show the same ignorance as your own and blame democrats.

Where is the outrage that he is signing an executive order? Obama did and the conservatives went nuts about how Obama was defying the government and the Constitution by signing "illegal" executive orders, the monster!
