The fact is :
1, Korsus is worse boss, because MM is weak at single target.
2. MM DPS jump up like crazy after boss drop below 20%. This will make mm dps look bad on wipe fight but their dps is ok if it is a kill fight.

I don't understand what you want from us? His logs seem fine, Krosus is a singletarget boss. Don't expect arms warrior DPS on a ST boss from a marksmanship hunter. Did you asked your hunter what is wrong, as he's capable of pressing buttons, I have a slight idea he could provide you some more information.

Use checkmywow.com and plug in your logs from WCL.

From checking your 3% and 4% wipes;
- He didn't line up his final True Shot with Bullseye
- He cast 13 out of a possible 18 windbursts
- He also has significant time spent focus capped and also overcaps from generating too much at times.
- His patient sniper efficiency is quite inconsistent
3 casts of aimed with <1 sec left on patient sniper
1 cast @ <2 secs
7 casts @ <3 secs
0 casts @ <4 secs
3 casts @ <5 secs
0 casts @ <6 secs
1 cast @ <7 secs
13 casts without patient sniper

Overall, he doesn't have the boots and its obviously a progress fight so mistakes will be made here and there. He didn't do horribly but has room for improvement. Use checkmywow.com with logs from a farm boss like Guarm or something to see if he masters the spec when he isn't under pressure during progress or if he has the same mistakes made on farm content also.

This is an incredibly hard fight to not focus cap and have a decent cast efficiency on. Hunters are most likely out of range on Krosus for the first two add spawns and due to movement involved in the fight nailing the rotation makes it very difficult. I would say that using checkmywow would be a bad indicator of performance and skill on this unless the hunter is completely ignoring tactics.

This. The fact is, MM Hunter is very weak in single-target compared to other classes. Have you tried doing Botanist and Spellblade? Betcha he was like top 3 DPS.

On Mythic only single target damage matters, although the fight starts with all 3 adds up, since after you kill one, the other's heal to full.

Why is everyone defending the MM hunter? on their best attempt the guy was doing 540k ST dps.. At 899 ilvl. That's dogshit. He has the legendary gloves and 52 traits, he should be doing 600k dps. There's no excuse for him. MM hunters don't have the best ST, but they can sure as hell do the 600k requirement for Krosus with the gear he has.

He's not using patient sniper correctly. He only had 3 aimed shots hit in the last second, 1 in the last 2 seconds, 7 in the last 3, he's casting too soon and losing large amounts of dmg.

He needs to use Windburst more, it's Windburst>Marked shot for applying vulnerable. he also spent 1/3rd of the fight focus capped. Wasted like 1403 focus which is huge. Yes you will overcap some, but not that much. More around the 300-400 range. As you can stand 60 yrds away and then disengage out when you have to soak, only losing a short amount of time not in combat.

All in all, yes you should be giving him a hard time, with his current gear he has no excuse for pulling under 580k dps (Assuming terrible rng) but on average he should be pulling 600k+

If he lost any aimed shots at all to the beam, he's a terrible terrible hunter. Especially because he had gloves. And he shouldn't lose any from moving up either. Pitch yes but that's really not many.

A loss is a loss. And I'm sure since he's having so many rotational/dps/focus capped/buff etc problems it's likely he loses out on non-procced ones
