Not gonna argue with the latter point, but what it does show here is people integrating properly into another society, being that America is now a democratic society not governed by theocracy, so people accepting the fact other religions exist where they are, and helping it even, is a good step forward.. you know, as opposed to groups of people moving somewhere and demanding the place they move to recognize their faith and no others..

I would love it to be a more regular occurrence as it shows how properly integrated Muslims can function like proper, empathetic human beings.

It's more about that one small community performing a nice gesture (and most likely even that more for show than out of genuine sympathy) doesn't change anything in the big picture of Islamic violence, terrorism and hatemongering that all stem from the same basic teachins found in the Koran and the Hadiths.
