As I said, he probably still is on call during the weekends, just in a nicer place. So what if it costs a bit? He's the most powerful man in the world and shouldn't be jailed to a single location 24/7. Afaik weekend trip/activity=/=vacation. One valid point is the thing that it costs other's though, but that depends on where he goes of course.

It's also quite a conflict of interest as he enjoys spending time on properties he owns...which means his governmental entourage effectively patronize his businesses every weekend. The money isn't just spent "on vacation," he's essentially funneling money into his own assets whenever he travels. As far as I'm aware it's unprecedented.

You can say it is inaccurate, but EVERYONE ELSE says its a fucking lie. And that is EXACTLY what it is, a fucking lie. He didn't wiretap Trump or Trump Tower. A president doesn't have control over who can be wiretapped. If there was sufficient evidence that Trump was doing something illegal, he can recommend to the FISA court that a wiretap should be put in place but there isn't even any evidence for that either.

Couldn't be arsed to read the entire mountain of text but the "vacation" thing caugth my eye. Aren't weekends supposed to be, you know, off? He's rich and can probbly afford to go and golf. I'm sure he is on call if there are any emergencies anyway. What's the problem?

The problem is every single time Obama went golfing, Trump complained loudly on Twitter about how much Obama was wasting taxpayer money.

Now that he's president, he's spent more taxpayer money on vacations than Obama did in his entire first year. I remember reading an article saying we're on track to spending almost a billion dollars a year on Trump's golf. Worse, because he goes to Mar A Lago, Trump makes profit off of this.

It's the hypocrisy and the corruption that pisses me off, not the vacation itself.

I think some of these threads are made on purpose by hired hands. Similar to the town hall riots where proof of anti trump people training people how to be loud and out of control. They should go and make something of their lives.

The town hall invasion. How quickly we forget things like, republicans doing the same shit years ago when ACA originally was in the pipeline. Guess they were trained too, am I right? Actually, I'm more willing to bet they were organized (we're against ACA because Obama!!!) versus, "if you repeal that, we can't healthcare at all." The latter seems more spontaneous.

Make no mistake, Trump has been "winning" this whole time, what with charging the taxpayer for his pointless trips to Florida which goes right back into his own pocket, to registering trademarks for massage parlors in China. The American people though, not so much.

The county he vacations to every weekend is asking for federal help because his frequent visits have run out their budget, the secret service is also asking for more money because their protection details is so expensive. The weekend trips where he plays golf and hangs out with celebs are vacations and the taxpayers are paying to the hilt for it while he stuffs his pockets.

He's flying there under the cost of the tax payers, because it's escorted, he doesn't fly there you know, with his own jet on his own costs. Not to mention people pay big bucks to stay at his place and to meet him, so in theory the people pay his trips and then he profits from those said trips at the same time.

Then he also said Obama took too much time off and golfs too much, he has already flown out and golfed more than Obama did in 2 years.
