Because for the life of my I can't find any details that actually support the allegations made in the article, but folks seem to be "listening and believing" simply because it affirms whatever their ideological beliefs are or something. I would have hoped, considering many people agreeing are also ones that are quick to shout "FAKE NEWS!", that there would be a bit more skepticism/thoroughness in verifying the accuracy of the information before agreeing with it.
