Just wondering, why people think multi culture is a good thing for a country? Never figured out why 1 culture isn't good.

Multi culture is fine, so long as 1 culture is always seen as the "main" culture that takes desirable aspects from other cultures.
Cause them foreign types got some tasty foods?
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.

Define multiculture first. Or you're gonna run into several strawmans, confusions, and pointless disagreements.
It isn't. 10 chars
Because a single culture shouldn't strangle other cultures out of existence.
it's good because it aims to make us live peacefully with people of other culture, but it's bad because some religious beliefs and some cultural habits lead to not being able to live properly together
it's too early for some persons, people must live like they like, and live with the rules of other people they live with, if this rule is not compatible, then there is no point in living together, it's not wrong or bad to have different opinions, it's normal

It's not inherently good or bad, it's just a state of being for a nation. Switzerland is an extremely multicultural nation as it contains areas of culturally and linguistically French, German, Italian and Romansch.
For a multicultural nation to exist though, there must be a mutual respect of present cultures as well as some cultural mixing and co-evolution.
Because diversity is a source of new knowledge and experiences. New residents also enrich the cultural fabric of society by introducing new foods, music, traditions, beliefs and interests.
The more pertinent question is asking why multiculturalism is bad.

This.
New and differing cultures bring a lot of different perspectives and traditions that can be pretty awesome, and serve to add to everyone's culture. Cinco de Mayo, St. Patty's Day, Christmas (the gift giving part), all due to multi-culturalism.
Pizza, quesadillas, any food with spices on it? Multi-culturalism.
Back at you, why is multiculturalism bad?
Interacting with other cultures makes life more interesting.
Is this another thread to complain about other cultures while the whole world and every nation is a mixture of several cultures from since we evolved from apes and started making cities?
Culture isn't a problem, there's other conflicts that cause people to point to culture. Cultures from others get absorbed into your own and those that changed yours also had their culture change, if you are talking about why integration failed it's a game where both sides hold the blame and a pretty long discussion where you have to first accept that skin color, religion and other popular scapegoats aren't the sole cause or problem.
You most likely adopted quite a few things from other cultures while growing up, things your parents found odd and strange. Also broad statements that try to define that multi-culture is bad or good is in its own a rather dumb starting point, since as i said at first, we are all mixtures of different cultures by now.
Because it brings variety, diversity, complexity.
Also, you should define what you mean by "culture", because a lot of people seem to think "multicultural" means separate legal systems, which isn't how it works. Within a multicultural nation, there's one set of laws for everyone, just a set of laws that doesn't discriminate.
No. It doesn't. It wears down the barriers between cultures, so they bleed together, but that's not the same thing at all, because those elements still exist, they're just more widespread.
Like how chicken tikka masala is now a staple of English cuisine.
