In many instances they can't because it's a public hearing and they're not allowed to reveal classified information. It's why you heard clapper answer a question with (paraphrasing here) 'I can refence comey's testimony that the investigation into russia's interference began at least as early as july 2017,' instead of directly answering the question. He later slipped up and mentioned that the investigations were going on in the spring of 2017.

Well, she publicly contradicted the Trump administration assertion that all she did was "give a heads up". She directly stated that he was lying to at least Pence and that he was compromised. But yea, anyone expecting a "bombshell" from her testimony and disappointed that it didn't happen is pretty clownish.
